The first part of the famous casual game about plants and zombies from the studio PopCap. The player will act as a homeowner, who uses different types of plants to protect his house from the invasion of zombies.
In the game, there are several types of plants and mushrooms that have a unique defense or attacking characteristics. The playing field is divided into 5 or 6 horizontal lines, along which the undead moves. To plant a plant, you need to spend a local analog of gold "suns." Most plants can attack enemies only on their own line, however, as they pass and purchase upgrades, you can attack and enemies on several lines.
The game has three modes: singleplayer, multiplayer and Adventure Mode, in which players can earn currency for upgrades. As you go through, additional modes open: for example, Survival Mode and Puzzle Mode with mini-games....
Skullgirls is a fighting game developed by Lab Zero and primarily published by Marvelous and Autumn Games. Since its initial release in 2012, it has received two free extensions, Skullgirls Encore and Skullgirls 2nd Encore and while its roster initially consisted of an all-female cast of 8 characters, 6 more characters were added, 5 being developed thanks to the game's Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign, including 2 male characters. At its release, Skullgirls was developed by Reverge Labs, but the team that created the game split off from the company to form Lab Zero. In Japan, the game is published by Arc System Works. On Nintendo Switch, the game is published by Skybound Games.
Skullgirls takes place in the Canopy Kingdom, inspired by 1940s America, in which corruption and conflict runs rampant. Once every seven years, an artifact called the Skull Heart appears, granting the wish of one woman. However, if the Skull Heart is used by a woman with impure intentions, it will control her, turning her into a destructive monster called the Skullgirl. Not once has anyone used the Skull Heart without falling to its curse. The game follows the stories of 14 characters on their way to face the Skullgirl and retrieve the Heart, be it for the greater good or simply their own gain.
The game is a tribute to Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and its mechanics are intended as a more polished version of the classic fighting game title, with some original ideas. In a standard player vs. player match, each player controls one character out a chosen number of one to three characters which they can switch to at any time. They can also call their inactive characters to perform assist attacks. Like most Marvel vs. Capcom-inspired games, Skullgirls is fast-paced and features long, complex combos based on animation cancels. It introduces a burst system which allows players to break their opponent's combo if it becomes too long.
Skullgirls features a 'dark deco'-inspired art style mixed with some horror themes and a jazz and rock soundtrack consisting of 28 tracks. In 2013, the game set the Guinness World Record Gamer's Edition record for most average frames of animation per character in a video game, reaching 1,439 frames per character and 11,515 frames total for its initial eight-character roster.
In February 2013, Skullgirls came in second in a crowdfunding event organized by fighting game website Shoryuken to decide what would be the final game featured on the EVO 2013 line up, with all proceeds sent to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Skullgirls raised over $US 78,000. While it was not featured as an EVO main game, EVO organizers supported the game's side event by providing prize money and advertisement....
The direct sequel to Shank (2010). The main protagonist, Shank, is a former mafia hitman. His home country is taken over by a military coup led by ruthless General Magnus, and Shank has no choice but to fight the regime's militia. There's also a second protagonist, Shank's childhood friend Corina. She can be played in several story missions, as well as in a newly introduced multiplayer survival mode. Corina's abilities are slightly different from that of Shank's, her moves are swifter, however, her attacks deal less damage.
The game is played as a 2D side-scroller. To move forward, Shank and Corina have to defeat all enemies they encounter, using three types of weapons: piercing them with knives, smashing with a club or shooting with a gun. The weapons can be switched on a fly during the action, thus allowing a variety of combos. The gameplay has slightly changed since the original game: blocking is not allowed anymore, and dodging is the only option to evade damage. Like its predecessor, Shank 2 features a somewhat cartoonish visual style, that contrasts the quite bloody and grotesque action scenes....
Final Fight, Double Dragon, Battletoads, Streets of Rage… What do all of these games have in common? They all represent the glory of the "beat 'em up" genre, a staple of gaming in the 80's and 90's. Greed Corp is a strategy game developed by W!Games.
There is not much story present in the game, however, it tells the players about four opposing factions. These factions are eager to take over the world and represent multiple nations joined up into one.
The game's factions are the same in gameplay, yet every one of them features a distinct visual style.
The Freemen are much like the ancient tribal societies and respect the environment they live in. All their units are built up using wood and other natural materials. Their territories look like farms with many windmills.
The Pirates make a living by robbing others. They also resort to trading with other factions. The units of this faction appear to be made out of scrap metal. Their territories look like deserts with occasional buildings.
The Cartel resembles a group of corporations which profit from mining natural resources. They heavily use materials to build their units and their territories look to be urbanistic.
The Empire is the only sustained government in the game. It is highly industrialized and militarized. Their units and territories feature a lot of steel.
Greed Corp is a turn-based game that takes place on a field of collapsing tiles. Credits are gained by harvesting resources on the tiles. If the players harvest too fast, the tile begins to collapse. The players have to completely annihilate their opponent to win a game using troops, harvesters, and transporters....
Hack 'n' Slash is a top-down action game created by Double Fine Productions.
The head wizard of the village where Alice lives in mandates everyone to stay inside their homes, the village's armory begins to make weapons that nobody is allowed to carry and the people who try to figure out what is going out get killed. You do not buy that these laws were made for your protection. Alice gets out of her house and goes on to unravel the mystery.
Hack 'n' Slash takes the word Hack seriously, as the players can literally hack the game's world using their USB Sword. The players use the sword to defeat the enemies met in dungeons or the village. The sword can also be used to interact with any in-game object that has a USB port. Sometime later into the game, the players can alter the behavior of their enemies by using the sword.
The main protagonist also gets a hold of the Third Eye Hat (an homage to internet slang), which is used to access a debugging console. This console was used by Double Fine themselves. It allows the players to peek into the containers, or examine the code to figure out what they have to do next. The players can even adjust the in-game clock which affects the flow of the game's time.
A character progression system is present in the game as the players can find books on various aspects of the game, which later allows the players to hack more and more in-game objects....

What if you woke up one day, and you were a Pokémon? What if all of the sudden you find yourself in a NEW world, where you can speak and interact with other Pokémon? The adventure begins when you and your partner Pokémon set out on rescue missions in a world ravaged by natural disasters. But what is your true purpose and destiny in this Pokémon world? That's the REAL mystery …
- An exciting and dramatic story pulls you into an involving world of Pokémon never seen before
- Use various moves and items to complete your rescue missions and increase your rescue team's reputation
- Meet more than 380 Pokémon on your journey. Become friends with them and call upon them for help whenever you need to
- Strategic battles enhance the adventure as you explore deep dungeons and towering mountains
The contents of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team and Red Rescue Team are about the same, but there are a few differences. There are several DS-specific features of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon that you'll be able to enjoy only when playing Blue Rescue Team, such as a dual-screen view, touch-screen control and wireless connectivity. So, if you've been waiting to pick up a Nintendo DS, there's no better time than right now.
You come to the rescue!
Many Pokémon are in danger as natural disasters are devastating the land, and it's up to you, in your new Pokémon body, to form a rescue team. To find the truth behind all these disasters, you will need to explore one dank dungeon after the next.
Since there are no trainers around, you will need to lead your team in battles, but your team members aren't as apt to follow your orders as they would a trainers. No trainers means no Pokéballs. So, to get other Pokémon to join your rescue team, you'll need to find ways to coerce Pokémon to join your side. The more rescues you make, the better your Rescue Team ranking. Your ranking can influence whether Pokémon agree to join your group or not.
Journey in the dungeon
Dungeons are unique. Every time you enter a dungeon, it will have a new, randomly generated map. Item locations, stairs and enemies will change their location each time you explore. Don't bother going back and sketching where you found a rare Pokémon: It won't be there the next time you explore.
If you fail in a dungeon, there are serious consequences. You'll lose all your money, many of your items and experience you've gained during your expedition. But don't worry -- just as other Pokémon have called for your help, you can call for help from other Pokémon Mystery Dungeon players. They can then go into the dungeon where you met your match to rescue your party, allowing you to salvage the money, items and experience you would have lost.
The game system you're using determines your options for how to connect the game versions. DS gamers can use the wireless mode; GBA users must use the GBA Game Link Cable. You can always write down and exchange Wonder Mail using a password system as well.
This is a new kind of Pokémon game, but many things remain the same as in previous Pokémon RPGs, including the turn-based battles, diversity of Pokémon and the moves they learn. The game provides all sorts of new ways to confront your enemies. Your Pokémon still have their traditional moves, but those moves have new traits that let you customize complex strategies. You can link together moves and have them all execute in the same turn! Although these moves cost more points, the turn-saving combinations radically change how you view combat.
Visit Pokémon Square
After you rescue Pokémon, head to the Pokémon Square, which serves as a base for your operations. The Pokémon-shaped buildings house all sorts of shops and services. Once you establish a base, Pelipper will deliver missions for you to undertake. You can buy items at the Kecleon Store, and Kangaskhan Storage is a place that will hold on to your items while you're in a dungeon. If you're looking to hone your fighting skills, go to Makuhita Dojo to get in some practice.
More than 380 kinds of Pokémon are available to travel with you, but first you need to make sure they have a place to stay. For this, you need to unlock a Friends Areas. You can go to the Wigglytuff Club to buy entry to a Friends Area. Sometimes you'll earn entry to an area as a reward or you can meet special Pokémon to unlock their Friends Area. Once you've earned entry to a Friends Area, you can visit it and talk to the Pokémon who have joined your party.
Features unique to Nintendo DS
Although there are two similar versions of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon for both Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS, the features of Blue Rescue Team for DS further enhance the game's experience.
You can control your team and access menus via the touch screen, view your map in real-time on the top screen and connect wirelessly with other players who have a copy of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team. Another advantage to having a Nintendo DS is that you can trade back and forth between Blue Rescue Team and Red Rescue Team by inserting the two games into the Nintendo DS's two game slots.
Stay tuned for more information on Pokémon Mystery Dungeon as release date approaches....
Sam & Max 201: Ice Station Santa is the first episode of a graphic adventure game Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space based on self-titled media franchise. It is a sequel to Sam & Max Save the World.
The game follows two friends and freelance policemen: an anthropomorphic suit-wearing dog Sam and “hyperkinetic rabbity thing” (as described in the source material) Max. It takes place one year after the event of Sam & Max Save the World. The story begins with a giant robot attack on their office. After the heroes defeat the robot, they find out it was a present from Santa Claus, so they decide to travel to the North Pole where they discover panicking Santa who barricaded himself in his workshop and threatens the elves with firearms. Sam and Max decide to find out the reason for Santa’s distress as well the cause of the robot attack.
Just like the previous game, Sam and Max Beyond Time and Space is a point-and-click adventure with a heavy emphasis on story and comedy. Throughout the game, you explore different locations, solve puzzles, interact with other characters. Although the core gameplay is identical to Sam and Max Save the World, there are some new features in the sequel. One of the most notable is that the game now has a hint system which you can adjust in the main menu. Aside from the main point-and-click constituent of the game, there are some mini-games such as driving sequence or a boxing match....

X-Men vs. Street Fighter (Japanese: エックスメン VS. ストリートファイター, Hepburn: Ekkusu Men bāsasu Sutorīto Faitā) is a crossover fighting video game developed and published by Capcom. It is Capcom's third fighting game to feature Marvel Comics characters, following X-Men: Children of the Atom and Marvel Super Heroes, and the first installment in the Marvel vs. Capcom series. As the title suggests, the game includes characters from Marvel's X-Men franchise and the cast from Capcom's Street Fighter series. Originally released as a coin-operated arcade game in 1996, it was eventually ported to the Sega Saturn in 1997 and the PlayStation in 1998.
X-Men vs. Street Fighter features gameplay similar to Street Fighter, but incorporates dual-character selection and tag team-based combat. Each player selects two characters to compete in a one-on-one battle, attempting to defeat the opposing team. The players are given the ability to switch between their characters at any point during the match. The game also incorporates numerous elements from X-Men: Children of the Atom and Marvel Super Heroes.
The game was released to generally positive reviews, with critics praising its gameplay and sprite animation quality. While the Sega Saturn port received praise for maintaining the experience of the original arcade version, the PlayStation port was met with mixed to negative critical reception for removing several features, such as tag team battles. The changes were done in response to the technical limitations of the PlayStation. A sequel to the game, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, was released in 1997....

Pilotwings 64 (Japanese: パイロットウイングス64, Hepburn: Pairottouingusu Rokujūyon) is a video game for the Nintendo 64, originally released in 1996 along with the debut of the console. The game was co-developed by Nintendo (primarily Nintendo EAD, who developed the original game) and the American visual technology group Paradigm Simulation. It was one of three launch titles for the Nintendo 64 in Japan as well as Europe and one of two launch titles in North America. Pilotwings 64 is a follow-up to Pilotwings for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), which was a North American launch game for its respective console in 1991. Also like that game, Pilotwings 64 received production input from Nintendo producer and EAD General Manager Shigeru Miyamoto.
Pilotwings 64 is a 3D amateur flight simulator that puts the player in control of one of six pilots as they try to earn pilot licenses through various forms of aviation. The events are flying an autogyro, using a jet pack, and hang gliding. Several bonus tasks are offered, such as skydiving and a human cannonball test. The game also puts focus on allowing the player to freely explore its detailed 3D environments, most notably a miniature representation of the United States.
The game received positive review scores and praise from gaming publications and news sources alike for its visual presentation and flying controls. Similar to its SNES predecessor, Pilotwings 64 serves to demonstrate the graphical capabilities of its gaming hardware. Although the flight simulator did not enjoy the same commercial success as its fellow launch game Super Mario 64, Pilotwings 64 nonetheless went on to sell over one million copies worldwide.

A rhythm spin-off of the ninja ‘busty brawler’ series, SENRAN KAGURA, Bon Appetit! features cooking battles rather than shinobi showdowns, with emphasis on outrageous humor, delicious food, and gratuitous images of the series’ lovely ladies. This culinary warfare is carried out through an array of rhythm battles, where tapping the correct buttons in time with the beat will rack up combos and determine the size and quality of the resulting dish. The soundtrack consists of a variety of catchy tunes encompassing all genres from jazz to classical, with special Japanese vocal tracks sung by the leader of each faction. This Full Course edition includes all DLC and 22 buxom ninja between the two original PlayStation(r)Vita releases, rewarding players who can overcome the challenge of creating the ultimate Super Dish with a special feast for the eyes as well.

Your war starts with just a single rifleman, but soon you'll be rolling into battle with tanks, flame throwers and hover crafts. Fight your way through varying missions on Faction Island, all featuring destructable environments and dynamic gameplay watch as buildings fall down crushing your enemies and rewarding you with massive combos. Expand your army with cash earned from completed missions by buying more heavy weaponry or powerful airstrikes to deliver death from above bringing battles to an indiscriminate finale.
Take on timed, solo, stealth and all out warfare missions each requiring a different set of gameplay styles and tactics. Group your units create an army of devastating force as up to five of your troops wreak collective carnage upon the unfortunate enemy. Rockets, bullets, ninja stars and fire are all at your disposal but you'll encounter opposing factions with devastating and insane weaponry of their own. Bombs and bullets alone won't win this war strong tactics and skill will surely prevail.
Enjoy City Siege Factions unique physics engine as each level serves as a destruction sandbox environment once you have successfully completed the mission. Why not take your heavy weapons in to earlier levels and go for all-out destruction or try and beat your best time and highest score. Every time you play a level, your units will level up and you will earn more cash to expand your forces, giving you the edge on later levels.
At the start of each level you can choose up to 5 units to deploy, you can switch between deployed units at will and can evacuate them and deploy other units from your reserves, allowing you to play each level your own way. Develop your strategy and take full control of Faction Island.Features
Using the power of physics, every level features destructible scenery and buildings. Set areas on fire, call in air-strikes and generally having fun blowing stuff up - but don't forget there are some real mission objectives to achieve, maybe stealth is the best option from time to time...
Your combo resets to 1 every time you fire. Take out as many baddies with a single shot to score the most points, taking advantage of the combo multiplier. Use the destructible environments to your advantage and get the biggest combo you can.
You have two enemy factions to contend with, the Natives and the Poachers. Land a shot near an enemy and they will often blame the other faction and start fighting each other. Incite the baddies to fight each other and save yourself the effort, as well as scoring more points and it all counts towards your combo.
8 Units to buy and upgrade to build a complete army.
The basic unit you start off with. His slow shooting auto-rifle holds 5 bullets before needing to be reloaded. Good movement ability and, as with all foot soldiers, can swing on vines.
Highly explosive and damaging, the Molotov Guy is a danger to everybody on the battlefield - use with caution, will set fire to pretty much everything. On the plus side he does come equipped with fire-retardant armour.
Heavily armoured, but slow. Carries a devastating Chain-gun that will make short work of basically anything, although it's accuracy is kinda poor.
The ultimate in stealth. This unit blends in until she gets too close to the enemy or gets seen attacking. Really useful on rescue missions. Her Ninja stars are great for attacking baddies from behind and destroying certain structures, however, they just bounce off barrels so don't expect explosive combos with this one.
Kinda rickety and easily damaged, but it's Flamethrower makes short work of most buildings and bad guys. Set the world on fire.
The toughest thing out there, although mobility is a little limited. Also comes with a big, devastating gun firing big, explosive shells for maximum damage.
The ultimate in mobility, equipped with a devastating heavy machine gun. Group a few of these up for unrivalled power on the battlefield.
Glide over swamps, lava and water. Armed with devastating rockets, but a narrow range of attack.
8 varying location of Faction Island, each with 3 missions to master
Your part of the island. Protect it from the enemy!
Sums up why you are here - it's the natural resources! You're drilling on Oil Beach and have a nice pipeline set up. Defend the area from the Natives (who for some reason are not keen on our presence) and the Poachers.
No Mans River
Fight along the river, just watch out for those cunning baddies hiding under water.
That swamp isn't pleasant to be in, making everything except the Hovercraft slow to move. Luckily there are lots of vines to swing on and get out of it.
This area is sacred to the Natives, they come here to worship their Idols, which of course, must be destroyed.
This is where the Poachers have set up camp. Drive them out and we can make use of the new space.
These Natives are savage and in need of "educating".
We need to secure the coast if we are going to completely control the Island and you will need Helicopters and Hovercrafts to do it.
Varying Mission Types
Secure the Area
Pretty straight-forward. Just go in and destroy everything!
You'll need to defend your base and oil wells.
Destroy the enemy Idols and Cages.
The Natives and Poachers have kidnapped our Scientists and we need them alive!
Take in a single foot soldier - you might need to rescue some scientists or defend a drill.
Hovercraft or Helicopter only naval battle to secure the coast.
Replayability and Tactics
Struggling with a mission? You maybe just need the right troop or tactics. Replay earlier missions and earn cash to expand your forces, giving you more options.
Often a tactical approach to a mission is required. Select the correct units, scroll around and have a good look at the mission before you start. And move slowly, thinking ahead. This is all of course balanced with total destruction missions!
High Scores and Best Times a for every mission. As long as you don't die during the mission you will register a score and time - so on some missions the best tactic for a top score or time is to ignore the mission and just destroy everything as quickly as possible!
Achievements. Can you unlock all the steam achievements? Getting 3 stars on every level requires some genuine skill!
Cloud Saves. Switch computers and pick up where you left off. ...
