INSIDE is a platform adventure game that transfers the atmosphere of a dystopic world. Players assume the role of a lonely boy, who walks through the monochromatic 2.5D environment and solves various puzzles. By the time main antagonists of the character pursue him throughout the whole world. The main storyline follows the unnamed boy through the in-game world locations including a forest, a farm, and a fictional laboratory, where experiments on bodies are held. The gameplay is divided into levels tied to each location. While completing them, the boy, controlled by players, has to swim, run, climb the obstacles and use his supernatural ability to control bodies with his special helmet. In the course of the travel, the protagonist also comes across a siren-like creature, who gives him gear for breathing underwater. The death occurs in several ways ranging from drowning to being shot with a tranquilizer dart. In addition to the basic ending, the storyline features an alternate one, which unlocks after collecting all the hidden glowing orbs.
2. Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 2 is the remake of the 1998 game of the same name.
The plot of the remake is identical to that of the original game. The story follows the survivors of a zombie virus outbreak in the fictional Raccoon City. There are two protagonists: Claire Redfield, a high school student, and Leon Kennedy, a policeman. They both search for the ways to escape the infested city. Companions, such as Ada Wong and Sherry, occasionally follow the protagonists. The characters eventually uncover the dark secrets of the Umbrella Corporation, which created the virus as a biological weapon, and fight its monsters, such as the Tyrant.
The player controls either Leon or Claire from the third person view in a 3D environment. The two protagonists' storylines are intertwined. The player can complete the scenario playing one of the protagonists, and then replay it from the other character's POV, with all his previous actions taken into account. The game combines puzzle solving with zombie fights. Both protagonists use firearms as their main weapon; however, ammo is scarce.
Changes from the original
Besides the updated graphics, the remake features a new camera and controls. In the original game, the controls were relative to the position of the player's character rather than the camera. The remake uses an over the shoulder camera, and the movements are relative to its angle. There's also no more loading screens, and the characters move between locations seamlessly.
3. Her Story
There is a small little genre of interactive movies in the game industry, but it seems that not only Quantic Dream makes this type of games. Her Story also is an interactive movie video game which is written and directed by Sam Barlow. Her Story is about a man who is missing and the player has to focus on searching through databases of various video clips from police interviews with missing man’s wife Hannah Smith, in order to solve a case.
Her Story is the first game made by Sam Barlow since his departure from Climax Studios. He wanted to create a game which focuses on story. He decided to use live action footage and created a police procedural game. In order to make it as much realistic as possible, Barlow watched lots of real police interviews, by doing so he discovered that there is a lot of ambiguity in those files and he wanted to incorporate that into the game as well.
The game was praised because of its original narrative, character performance and interesting gameplay mechanics.
4. Stealth Inc 2: A Game of Clones
A sequel to Stealth Bastard (a.k.a. Stealth, Inc.), in which the player controls a group of identical clones. They are being used as test subjects on a PTi Industries factory. But now one brave clone learned his real purpose and is going to escape to freedom.
Gameplay in Stealth Inc. 2 is centered around stealth action, for which the game was even compared to the Splinter Cell series despite huge stylistic differences. The clone has to move swiftly and silently to avoid security cameras and sentry robots. Its time is limited, however, and the player has to find the balance between speed and safety. Level design in Stealth Inc. 2 reminds of Metroidvania-style platformers. The factory is split into areas, consisting of eight test chambers each, all of them interconnected in the manner called overworld. The player will have to solve puzzles to open new areas. Every area introduces a gadget that should be equipped and is essential to use to move forward. Some of the puzzles are deadly traps that are only solved through trial and error. On the first walkthrough, they will almost inevitably kill the clone and send it back to the checkpoint.
5. Ether One
A walking simulator or first-person adventure game from the independent British studio White Paper Games, for which the project became a debut. According to the developers, the game explores the fragility of the human mind.
The player takes control of the nameless hero who works as Restorer as an employee of the futuristic memorial recovery company Ether Institute of Telepathic Medicine., Whose task is to investigate the thoughts of a woman named Jean Thompson with a diagnosis of dementia. The restorer can project himself into one's mind. The game has puzzles, the essence of which is to reconstruct the memories of a woman. The narrative assumes several variants of the development of events so that each new passage can surprise those already familiar with the game.
The game was released on the PlayStation 4 and PC. On computers twice: in addition to the original release, in 2015 Redux version of the game was released.

19. The Journey Down: Chapter One
The game resembles the cult masterpiece of Tim Shafer Grim Fandango: faces of the characters are covered with masks of African tribes. The Journey Down is an episodic adventure for Linux, OS X, Windows, and iOS. This is the first part of the trilogy.
The game's game takes place in the coastal city of Saint Armando. The player follows the adventures of Bwana and Kito, who own a gas station and barely make ends meet. However, future events drag them into a whirlpool of adventures, which makes forget about worldly problems. In the first part of the trilogy, the heroes go in search of a lost log. It can point the way to the mysterious land of the Underland. Together Bwana and Kito help the girl Lina to find the hidden land.
The Journey Down is a classic point-and-click quest with an unusual visual setting. Developers have fashioned their characters in a mix of Afro and Caribbean styles. Special pride is the original jazz soundtrack, which was recorded just in time for the restart of the game in HD.

27. The Old City: Leviathan
The Old City: Leviathan is an experiment in first person exploration that focuses entirely on story.
Everything else is secondary. All that exists is you and the world. Set in a decaying city from a civilization long past, The Old City: Leviathan puts the player in the shoes of a sewer dwelling isolationist. You progress through the narrative by simply exploring the world. The story itself is told via the musings of your character and, chiefly, the environment itself. This environment has been designed to be diverse, interesting, and meaningful to the narrative of the game.
The objective is to understand. The story of The Old City: Leviathan is not told in a traditional manner. As you progress through the narrative, you will overhear a conversation between two entities. The first entity is the nameless character you are controlling who communicates through a monologue. The second entity is the depths of the environment, details and all. Your task is to piece together the narrative as if you are jumping into a conversation with no context. The more you explore, the more you will potentially understand.
This experience is not a normal one.

The game is a platformer that many players feel very challenging, and some feel the difficulty is just right. Do not be confused by the funny art style and those interesting animations, this is definitely a hardcore game. In the game, a player need to jump over dangerous levels to save hostages and collect diamonds.
Yes, we focus only on jump rather than shooting or puzzle solving elements. By holding longer, you can jump further. And it supports double-jump in the air. You can also jump right onto a goblin, a bomb or a boss to attack. Players need to control precisely to pass the levels. In the game, there are many hidden areas to explore, simply passing the levels is far from finishing the game. As for the art style, many players can tell from the first sight that this is a CottonGame product. Those various animations, styled characters and interesting graffities all make this game unique among countless platformers.
During the early access, we would like to get as many feedbacks as we can, and we will update the game actively while designing new levels to get ready for the release within half a year.
We support keyboard, Xbox One and PS4 controllers at the moment. A few other controllers will also be supported shortly in the future.
