2. Marvel's Spider-Man
Marvel's Spider-Man offers the player to take on the role of the most famous Marvel superhero.
The game introduces Spider-Man as an already experienced superhero. By the time the game begins, Peter has captured the infamous Kingpin as well as several other supervillains. Now, a gang that goes by the name of Demons poses a new danger to New York. Meanwhile, Peter is working for the scientist Otto Octavius, who didn't yet become Dr. Octopus, on their science project. Throughout the game, Spidey has to deal with multiple enemies, such as Norman Osbourne, Electro, Vulture, Rhino and Kingpin, among others.
The player controls Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, from the third person view. There are also sections of the game in which the player controls other protagonists, namely Mary Jane and Miles Morales. The game is set in a 3D environment that is modeled after New York City. The player can travel the city using web slings, running, jumping, and crawling the walls. The setting includes numerous high-rise buildings designed specifically for Spider-Man's movements.
As the player progresses, he or she unlocks new suits that grant Spider-Man new abilities, such as additional attacks or enhanced Spider-Sense. The abilities are not tied to the suits, however, and the player can use the suit of his or her choice without losing the ability. The combat system is similar to that in Batman: Arkham, in that Spider-Man fights many opponents in hand-to-hand combat but avoids killing them.

3. Mirror's Edge
Refreshing look of Mirror’s Edge made this first-person action platformer recognizable even by people, that has never played it before and just heard about it. The City of the “utopian” society is highly monitored by the totalitarian military groups. Players will take control of the female protagonist, named Faith, a specially trained Runner, master of parkour that delivers physical documents in the city, where every form of communication is watched. Her sister is framed for murder, and Faith must follow the clues to the identity of the murderer, with only lead being a note saying Icarus.
Distinct visuals of the game form the bright white city, which Faith has to navigate through, jumping across rooftops, running on walls and climbing scaffolding. Color-coded elements of the environment guiding players as to where they can progress. Special attention to the camera that will bob up in down in accordance with the movement, trying to recreate the actual vision, and not a fixed video feed. Even though Mirror’s Edge has a combat system, it’s not the main focus, which makes it scarce.
4. Spec Ops: The Line
The Line is the tenth entry into the Spec Ops series, as well as a modernized reboot. Following the worst recorded sandstorms in Dubai, Captain Martin Walker was sent to investigate the events that took place in the city, after it was cut off from all transport and communication. So now the squad of the elite soldiers has to discover, what was meant by the last message they received from the dense wall of raging sand.
Spec Ops: The Line places the attention on the squad mechanics, where players can give orders to the NPCs, accompanying the player during the game. Aside from the single-player story campaign, players can join the multiplayer matches, which may vary from the solo/team deathmatch to “King of the Hill” type matches. Cooperative missions for two players have been added shortly after the game release. The single player campaign allows players to experiment with the weapons, carrying two at a time and use the environments to their advantage, using hazardous sandstorm to clear-out the enemies.
5. Until Dawn
Ten young people spend time in a cottage on a mountain. Around the cottage, there is a forest and something supernatural. First, they joke with each other, then unknown and deadly participants appear in the game.
Some people will die in any case, the lives of others will depend on the player. There will also be helpers - one of them will tell you that the mountain is inhabited by Wendigo - supernatural beings who were once human beings, but after eating people’s flesh they became obsessed with evil spirits and turned into bloodthirsty monsters.
Wendigo will be settled in some of the dead characters - and they will come to life and will get superpowers that help win even the Wendigo.
The plot is ramified so that you will have to go through the game several times to familiarise with all the options.
The player has to make decisions quickly, conduct investigations, collect and take into account numerous clues. Actually, this is the gameplay.
6. Just Cause 3
Just Cause 3 is an open-world action adventure with the large locus on freedom of exploring. It is the thirds title in the Just Cause series produced by Avalanche Studios, preceded by the first two numerical parts and having the 4th part not yet released as its successor.
Rico Rodriguez is the protagonist of the game, who is continually being forced to deal with bandits and dictators somewhere in the Mediterranean. The events of the third game in the series take place 6 years after the second installment.
Any game of this category is strongly associated with complete freedom of roaming, and the third part pushes all the metrics up: you now have 1 000 square kilometers of space to wander around and upgraded hook which has allowed you continuously to overcome any obstacle. The grappling hook works like a universal tool: you may drag your enemies closer Skorpion-style, climb mountains and cling to foe's cars.
Not only tools but physics provide unique exploring experience — the key word for them is an exaggeration for any event in the game looks like it was cut straight out of an action movie.
7. Hitman: Absolution
The direct sequel to the Hitman: Blood money, Absolution tells the story of Agent 47, the true intentions of his Agency and how top Agent became a renegade on the run. Unlike previous games in the series, players will get more linear and cinematic experience. The game revolves around objective-based missions, providing various methods of completion. Players can avoid direct confrontation by disguising themselves in other people’s uniforms and use environmental interactions to distract or kill unsuspecting targets. And in case of raising the alarm, players can try to rush the mission with the direct attack, using dozens of available weapons.
Players can use special vision mechanic, called Instinct. It allows seeing through the solid surfaces in order to observe NPC’s, items that can be interacted with and predict the movement of patrolling guards. Absolution provides players with additional challenges and collectibles in order to invite players to explore the maps.

9. FINAL FANTASY XV
Final Fantasy XV is an action RPG developed by Square Enix and is not connected to the previous installments of the series.
The story takes place in a world of Eos. Noctis Lucis Caelum, the heir of the Lucis Empire throne sets out on a quest with his comrades in order to recover a stolen magical gem the theft of which sparks a global conflict between all the nations in Eos.
The combat system resembles the same one featured in Final Fantasy Type-0 but is heavily modified. There is no option to control any of the four main protagonists apart from Noctis himself, yet it is possible to command your teammates. It is possible for the players to use vehicles such as tanks or robots or summon beings that differ in rank based on their size. There are no battle-specific battle screens in FFXV.
Magic is also present in the game. By consuming the power of natural elements from their sources, Noctis is able to cast spells. The Protagonists have the ability called Link Form which allows for contextual attacks.
The main emphasis is put on the road trip with your friends. FFXV features a massive open world which can be freely explored. Dynamic day-night cycle and weather systems are also present.

10. Remember Me
In 2082 memories and influence on people’s behaviour are just goods for sale, and "personal life" or "unique biography" are vestiges. Nilin, the heroine, can penetrate into the memory of people, she changes the past on which people base their actions in the present. Once she is subjected to a complete erasure of memory. She has to start a battle for herself - for the self that she does not even remember.
Setting, plot, design and lighting immediately evokes a masterpiece of cyberpunk - «Blade Runner». But the game is noticeably superior to the movie regarding «volume» of space, the sensation of «air» and «presence» in the game. There is an impression that you see the world of the game 360 degrees around you. Mimicry and plastic of characters are directed in each detail, undoubtedly dramatic, give a full impression of a play of live actors. It seems that even the movements of inanimate objects are filled with the same expressiveness - for example, the trajectories of a thrown pistol or splinters ... High level of directing and corresponding levels of design and graphics. A mass of significant finds, filling every frame with emotion and senses.
11. inFAMOUS First Light
InFAMOUS First Light is a third-person open-world game developed by Sucker Punch. It is a spin-off/prequel hybrid to inFAMOUS Second Son, the third installment in the series.
7 years ago an explosion in a fictional Empire City caused a plague outbreak. During that time people with superpowers known as Conduits start to appear. Most of the conduits died fighting the outbreak. After these events, the U.S. government established the Department of Unified Protection. The Conduits are considered bio-terrorists and held prisoner. The game tells the story of Abigail Walker who possesses the power of neon, how she was captured by the D.U.P. and imprisoned in Curdun Cay. The story is set 3 years before the events of InFAMOUS Second Son.
The game focuses on the neon power that was one of the powers present in InFAMOUS Second Son. Neon power is used for distant precise powerful attacks. The Neon Beam deals a lot of damage yet it has a low fire rate. In addition to normal Neon Beam, it is possible to use Stasis Bubbles that freeze the enemies. A more powerful charged Phosphor Beam is also present. Players can travel at high speeds using the Light Speed.

Furi is a game that consists of boss fights. It is set in a neon-bright futuristic world with some elements of traditional Japanese aesthetics. The game is accompanied by a synthwave soundtrack recorded by several popular electronic artists including Carpenter Brut.
The player assumes the role of the Stranger, a white-haired samurai wearing a red cloak. The Stranger was kept as a prisoner on an orbital station until he was released from his cell by an unknown benefactor wearing a bunny suit. The protagonist, now armed with a plasma gun and a katana, has to fight his way to freedom through a series of levels, each of them containing only one enemy, a boss who guards Stranger's prison. Each battle is preceded by a cutscene that further reveals the plot, and each boss requires a unique approach.
The game is played in an isometric top-down view. The combat system is very simple, it includes no combos and consists of only four basic movements. The Stranger can slash with his sword, fire his gun, block an incoming attack or dash forward to avoid it. Each action can be made more powerful by holding its button for several seconds, although it slows down your movement.
13. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is an FPS developed by Sledgehammer Games. It is the eleventh major installment in the series.
In the year 2054, the private military companies become the world's leading military power. Countries replace their own armies by hiring PMCs. You play as Jack Mitchell, the soldier of the biggest PMC named Atlas. You are a loyal combatant, yet a major conspiracy is unraveled in Atlas.
The game's core mechanics revolve around an exoskeleton that is worn by the Protagonist. Exoskeletons offer their users enhanced mobility, strength and unique abilities such as dash, ballistic shield or a short-timed boost. Advanced Warfare does not feature a tradition heads-up display, using holographic projection on the weapons as its interface.
During singleplayer, the players are able to upgrade their exoskeleton using upgrade points that are gained after every mission. 22 points are required in order to purchase every exo upgrade.
As for the multiplayer, the game does not feature many changes apart from the enhanced mobility and the Pick 13 system that allows players to choose any equipment available as long as it does not exceed 13 allocated slots.
14. PlanetSide 2
Planetside 2 is a massive multiplayer first-person shooter with an emphasis on large-scale battles developed by Daybreak Game Company.
Although considered as a continuation of the series, Planetside 2 is a re-imagining of the original game featuring the same world, factions and time period. The game revolves around territory control mechanics with large battles with up to 2000 players participating. Combat takes place on the continents of a fictional planet which are broken up into many territories. Control over these sectors grants bonuses to the faction in control. Teamwork and coordinated attacks are a necessity on the way to victory.
There are three factions present in the game: the Terran Republic, New Conglomerate, and Vanu Sovereignty. Each faction has its own unique visual style and playstyle. For example, the Republic relies on conventional ballistic weaponry while railguns and gauss rifles are widespread in the Conglomerate.
Planetside 2 features a freemium business model similar to League of Legends. While the game can be played for free, there is an in-game shop where players can buy new weapons, vehicles, and cosmetics for either real money or in-game currency.
Ricochet is a multiplayer Half-Life mod developed by Valve.
Richochet is a deathmatch game that closely resembles platformers. The game field is made out of several floating platforms which the players can jump on by stepping on one of the arrows on the edge of the platform.
The objective is to push other players off the platforms using throwing discs - the only weapon present in the game. The player can't have more than 3 discs at the same time. The platforms are limited by a horizontal strip that can be used for ricocheting the discs. For pushing the player off with a direct hit, 1 point is scored. 2 for pushing the player off with a ricochet and 3 for double ricochet.
There are two firing modes: single disc shot and the beheading shot that uses all three discs at once.
In comparison to other Half-Life mods, the number of deaths is not tracked by in-game statistics. Overall, this mod is much more primitive than the others. Only 2D targeting is present and the player movement comes down to jumping from platform to platform.

16. EA SPORTS UFC 2
EA Sports UFC 2 is a fighting game developed by EA Canada. It is the official game of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
There is no plot present in the game, as all the fights heavily resemble the real UFC fights.
The main objective of the player is to knock their opponent out. The matches may end via Submission, Knockout, Technical Knockout, or by Judges' Decision in case none of the fighters gets knocked out. These matches take place in an octagonal cage, which the fighters cannot leave during the match. EA Sports UFC 2 is trying to resemble the real UFC matches as accurately as possible. The rule sets, venues, and the moves present in the game are carefully recreated in-game.
Several game modes are present in the game. The players are free to play an instant UFC match, choosing the fighter and other fight aspects, such as the venue the match is held in, who to play against, and customizing the rule set.
In a Knockout mode, the players can only win a fight by knocking their opponent out. This mode focuses mostly on strikes, rather than on grapples. There is no stamina bar present in the Knockout mode.
The Ultimate Team game mode is also present in the game. The players build up a stack of cards which resemble different fighters to play against other players' stacks. Upon winning, the players are given coins, that can be used to upgrade their fighters or purchase new ones. The players can also engage in multiplayer fights against each other.
17. Skate 3
Skate 3 is a skateboarding simulator developed by EA Black Box. It is the third game in the series and is a direct sequel to Skate 2.
The game takes place sometime later after the events of Skate 2. The main protagonist, who is now known as The Legend, became one of the best skaters. He travels to a coastal town of Port Carventer to take part in a sponsored event but fails. To get to the top again, he has to put up his own team.
Port Carventer differs a lot from San Vanselona. There are no zones where skating is restricted. The city itself consists of three zones: The City, The University, and the Industrial Area. Each zone has its own differences, for example, there are a lot of monuments and concrete buildings in The City, while The University boasts a high number of open spaces.
Like in previous installments, the game's core mechanic called Flick It is still present in the game and is essential for getting high scores. It gives the player control of the skater and maps it to the right stick of the gamepad. Players are given points for doing tricks. The amount of points depends on the difficulty of the trick and their combos.
The game offers three difficulty settings: Easy (you can jump higher and do tricks faster), Normal (a classic difficulty, like in previous games of the series), and Hardcore (the physics resembles the same of the real world).
There is an in-depth tutorial called Skate.school that is accessible at any point in the game.

Raiders of the Broken Planet - Prologue is free of cost game which serves as a demo campaign for an online asymmetric multiplayer game Raiders of the Broken Planet, which was developed by MercurySteam and later rebranded as Spacelords.
Set in the distant future on a mysterious Broken Planet, the game tells the story of its Raiders who set out to free the planet from the hands of the Antagonist.
The game focuses on the four versus one asymmetric multiplayer horde mode. Play as one of the Raiders with three other players and stand against numerous hordes of enemies or switch sides and become the Antagonist, who will use all means to stop the heroes from completing their objective. The players are free to choose one of seventeen characters to play as. The game also features a so-called Character Card system which allows for the customization of the chosen character. The players can also mod their weapons however they see fit.
Raiders of the Broken Planet was renamed to Spacelords due to completely changing its pricing model and going free to play. All the campaigns of the game were made available to all the players.
Yet the gunplay got an overhaul. In order to get a new weapon, the players have to grind for a randomly spawning blueprints and then spend large amounts of in-game currency to build the weapon they got. This was met with severe backlash by the users.
21. The Fall
The Fall is a 2D side-scrolling adventure game developed by Over the Moon Games.
The game follows Arid, an artificial intelligence installed in combat space suit worn by an unconscious astronaut. They crash land in unknown environments, and Arid’s goal is to save her pilot and restore his health. Being AI, Arid follows strict rules such as not to endanger pilot or not to deceive. The boundaries of AI will is one of the main themes in the game’s story.
The game revolves around exploring environments, solving puzzles and sporadic fighting with different enemies. The gameplay incorporates elements of Metroidvania and point-and-click adventures. Some areas in the game require special items to access that can be found in other parts of the game world. One of the most notable gameplay mechanics in The Fall is that flashlight serves as a pointer. You have to highlight the items to interact with them.
During combat, your flashlight turns into a laser sight. The player can use covers or blend into the background using camouflage. The enemies usually do not need many hits to kill the player. So most of the time landing accurate headshots is the best tactics to defeat enemies. The player can also perform stealth attacks that recover the main hero’s health.

50. Infinity Runner
The Infinity is the largest spaceship ever built by man-kind; flung into the void of space to secure humanity a new home amongst the stars. However, instead of discovering paradise, the inhabitants of The Infinity unlocked the door to a long forgotten nightmare.
Deep inside this leviathan something terrible hunts, out of myth and legend the last werewolf stalks the ship. Infinity Runner centres on a prisoner desperately trying to escape the decaying ship and the clutches of the terror within. It’s a sci-fi action running game for PC, Mac, and Linux that features 14 action packed levels, Oculus Rift DK1 & DK2 (Runtime 4.4) support and online multi-player.
In Infinity Runner, the player controls the protagonist, the prisoner, from a first-person perspective as he is challenged to escape from the gargantuan spaceship. This is accomplished by use of techniques and movements inspired by the disciplines of parkour and mixed martial arts, the game-play conveys the players strain and physical contact with the environment whilst dealing with the constantly changing and expansive surroundings. As well as these evasive elements there’s also combat sections in the game where a dynamic targeting system is used which calls for fast reflex combinations. The game supports the latest virtual reality technology as well as having multi-player mode which enables up to 32 people to play head to head.
Even though it’s a slick action game the story is very important part of your journey, as well as being your call to action it will reveal revelations along your action packed ride. Some of the story is told at high pace but there are some slower paced transition sections at the end of each level where we develop the narrative for the player. Without giving too much away you have someone guiding you through the game who talks to you telepathically. Their role is not only to orientate you but to help unfold the story for the player as you find out who you are and why you’re on the ship.
The Oculus Rift mode literally transports you inside the Infinity spaceship to be totally immersed in the thick of the action. The game-play is designed to complement the VR mode so you get the best experience possible and it enhances the game by adding another dimension to the playing experience.
There is also another feature that transforms the game into a unique experience, the multi-player mode. This allows up to a 32 players to battle it out head to head to find out who’s the ultimate Infinity Runner.
Infinity Runner packs a lot into one super slick sci-fi action game bundle and with it re-invents the running genre!

STARSHIP INFINITY SPECIFICATION
Over 150 miles long and nearly 30 miles in diameter at its widest point, the progress of The Infinity's construction at the Tranquillity Ship yards on the Moon could clearly be seen from Earth. The revolutionary ship requires a crew of 5,000,000 people to keep it running and is designed to house another 10 million people as general population ready for the colonisation of new worlds. The Bio-domes, seen along the side of the ship, house forests that cover nearly 60,000 square miles in total, providing oxygen and a food source for the population and an environment for rest and relaxation. The greatest technological achievement can be found in the engine room, which houses the revolutionary Infinity Drive. It is vastly smaller than previous engines at a mere 10 miles long and far more powerful than traditional models which would take up to a third of the length of a starship, creating space for more brave colonists heading out into the unknown.
