1. Super Meat Boy
Super Meat Boy is a fast-paced 2D platform game that rewards mechanical perfection and accuracy of controls. Meat Boy has to save Bandage Girl from Doctor Fetus, by completing the platforming challenges. The game has 5 main worlds, each consisting of 20 light levels, 20 dark and harder versions of those levels and a boss fight. Meat Boy has only one life and cannot take any damage, but there is no limit on attempts, so players can try and fail the stage until they get it right or collect special bandages. Unique replay system will show the player every try they made at the same time right after they completed the level.
Super Meat boy has multiple characters, some of them are a different skin for Meat Boy and in-game adaptations of other indie-game protagonists, that can be unlocked by completing their special challenge levels, hidden somewhere in the campaign; or by collecting set amount of bandages. Players will be able to choose any unlocked character for any level from the main menu. The game gives players access to the community created maps, but even without it – Super Meat Boy offers more than 300 levels.
Abzu is a classic adventure game, the action of which unfolds in the endless ocean. The protagonist is a female diver, wakes up alone drifting on the ocean surface.
The main gameplay is aimed at exploring the surrounding world: the main character finds the ruins and traces of an ancient civilization that existed in symbiosis with the world's ocean. The outside world reacts to the player's actions and changes under his/her influence. However, it will not only be necessary to explore the underwater world: ground fragments also come into play in the game. Despite the simplicity and serenity of the game, there are dangers in the form of sea predators.
The story is told without a single word and the silence only helps to create a unique atmosphere of peace and tranquillity that reigns in the world of the game. The mosaic of the game setting is completed by the implementation of the game camera and the opportunity to look at the world through the eyes of fish - you need to enter the meditation mode for this.
A person from our time experiences visions of the past - and thinks he is sick. Medications do not help, he turns to the shaman. The shaman understands what is going on and talks about the battle that happened 30,000 years ago. The battle between the great hero and the two Sisters of Chaos. One of the Sisters controlled the Light of the Sun, and the other - the Darkness of the Moon. The sisters lost the battle, and the hero imprisoned them. The shaman sees that a person with visions is an incarnation of the hero, and visions can mean that the Sisters managed to escape from prison. Now the hero has to fight the Sisters again.
The path to the Sisters lies through several areas. Each area is protected by a Protector. Protectors were independent, but now they are bribed by Chaos and serve Chaos.
There are numerous and different beings born from the energies of Light, Darkness or others. These creatures are trying to block the path of the hero. The gameplay arises as the use of the energies of Light and Darkness. The energies of Light are deadly to the creatures of Darkness and vice versa. The game ends when the Sisters are again defeated and will see the beauty of the world and stop wanting to destroy it.
4. Dead Bits
In Dead Bits, everything, from the environment to enemies, is entirely made of cubes. The game is intentionally made with extremely minimalistic graphics and simplest textures, and is set to dubstep music. Visually, Dead Bits somewhat reminds Minecraft, but gameplay-wise, it’s a combination of the first-person shooter with platforming elements.
The protagonist named Quilly was kidnapped by the aliens led by Quanton. Quilly has to complete a series of tests for Quanton before he is released. The “tests” actually consist of short levels in which you fight zombies and giant humanoid robots made of boxes. The protagonist starts each level armed with either a gun, an iron stick, or even nothing at all at some levels where you have to find the weapons yourself. Most levels are set on the platforms floating in the middle of nowhere, though there’s also a claustrophobic corridor level with limited visibility. Outside of the cutscenes, there’s no character model. Quilly has no visible legs and casts no shadow, which makes navigating the platforms way more difficult than one might expect. Each Quilly’s death is followed by a cutscene that cannot be skipped.

LYNE is a minimalist puzzle game where the player has to connect geometric figures. Connect blocks (these can be square or triangle) to other blocks of their respective color to pass the level.
The goal is to connect the same colored shapes with non-intersecting lines. Depending on the difficulty of the level, there is a bigger network on which to do this, and more color sets to connect. It is a fairly straightforward title, but what makes it replayable is execution quality and unusual puzzle-solving experience. There are no timers, no enemies to kill, and no penalties for making mistakes. The puzzles are simple in the beginning but as time passes they become more complex. In a while, the player faces more colors, shapes, geometrical figures, lines. Lyne has several pre-made puzzles (650+), so it does not run out of levels too soon. Also, the game also offers daily challenges; they're called procedurally-generated puzzles. It also supports multiple languages.
The game mechanics are easy to follow. The player might get stuck on a puzzle, but every one of them can be solved.
The interface, in general, is smooth. The sound effects are string together in a pleasingly melodic fashion; they are soothing and quiet. The graphics and the music are designed to calm the player; the colors are soft and pastel.

Ten years have passed since Sunless Sea, and Queen Victoria has led an exodus from London to the heavens. There, a revitalised British Empire - ambitious and authoritarian - begins to expand across the skies.
The stars are alive. They are the Judgements: vast intelligences that govern all things. But they are dying. One by one, something is snuffing them out, leaving their thrones empty. - Equip your vessel as you see fit. Would you benefit more from reinforced armour plating, or the additional manpower allowed by external crew pods? ("Soundproof! Cosy! Detachable!")
- It is not safe in the skies. A captain will need to defend themselves against pirates, scorn-flukes, the Cyst of Faces, and worse.
- Recruit a gallery of unpredictable characters to crew your locomotive as First Officer, Chief Engineer, Signaller, or Surgeon. Each brings their own skills and stories to your adventures.

29. Fields XY
Fields XY places you in control of 2 characters with very different characteristics. Use the arrow keys to direct a simple platformer character, dodge spikes, climb towers and teleport between areas with the aim of finishing at your goal.
Some goals however, are just out of reach. Enter the top down character, moving on the XY plane with WASD, leaving a trail of platforms as they move. Combine the unique traits to tackle difficult puzzles, where planning every move is key. Fail to do so, and you risk making the exit truly unreachable.
A third character is also available and will be featured in many future levels. Operating similar to the top down character, they leave a small temporary platform trail that fades in time. This final character changes the game from a thought provoking puzzler, to a more fast paced platformer.
The game features 50 levels at this time with the plan for frequent level updates. Access to the Steam workshop also makes the amount of levels available endless.

Have you ever heard about Chinese wood knots? If you’re not familiar with them, I’m sure you know the Magic Cube. We all went crazy handling the Magic Cube, and it was our source of inspiration for making Knot.
Knot is a 3D mechanical puzzle game with realistic graphics that will fully immerse you into its world. Each puzzle is composed of blocks that are mechanically interlocked. Your mission is to find a way to solve it by moving and rotating the correct block in order to disassemble the puzzle.
Some puzzles are easy while others are quite challenging. But don’t worry, we created the perfect atmosphere that will allow you to relax and complete your mission. You will need to be focused, because the more puzzles you solve, the harder it becomes to move a block.
These interlocking puzzles are composed of multiple materials including wood, copper, stone, etc.
We hope that you will enjoy the brain teasers as much as we did designing them. Don’t hesitate to leave us a comment or question. We will be happy to answer as much as we can.

(Absolutely zero jump scares)
Directionless is an experimental Virtual Reality horror game. It tries out a variety of ways of using Virtual Reality to unnerve and disorient the player, with carefully crafted audio working with an interactive environment to pull you into a nightmarish world where you can't trust anything.
You'll begin in a harmless room, but after falling asleep and waking up at midnight, things that looked harmless before may seem a little bit more menacing, and soon enough the unsettling occurrences begin. But the environment isn't the only threat: your own mind is liable to work against you. Directionless, in its core, is a collected effort to temporarily destroy your grip on reality.
While it is a short experience, replay value in Directionless comes from sharing it with friends. For those with little experience in VR, Directionless can blow their minds. Just make sure you're there to catch them if they fall over!
