1. Marvel's Spider-Man
Marvel's Spider-Man offers the player to take on the role of the most famous Marvel superhero.
The game introduces Spider-Man as an already experienced superhero. By the time the game begins, Peter has captured the infamous Kingpin as well as several other supervillains. Now, a gang that goes by the name of Demons poses a new danger to New York. Meanwhile, Peter is working for the scientist Otto Octavius, who didn't yet become Dr. Octopus, on their science project. Throughout the game, Spidey has to deal with multiple enemies, such as Norman Osbourne, Electro, Vulture, Rhino and Kingpin, among others.
The player controls Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, from the third person view. There are also sections of the game in which the player controls other protagonists, namely Mary Jane and Miles Morales. The game is set in a 3D environment that is modeled after New York City. The player can travel the city using web slings, running, jumping, and crawling the walls. The setting includes numerous high-rise buildings designed specifically for Spider-Man's movements.
As the player progresses, he or she unlocks new suits that grant Spider-Man new abilities, such as additional attacks or enhanced Spider-Sense. The abilities are not tied to the suits, however, and the player can use the suit of his or her choice without losing the ability. The combat system is similar to that in Batman: Arkham, in that Spider-Man fights many opponents in hand-to-hand combat but avoids killing them.

2. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
In Uncharted 2, as in the other Uncharted games, the hero is the adventurer and hidden treasure seeker Nathan Drake. Riddles are no less important part of the gameplay than fights, chases and travels through exotic landscapes and hard-to-reach places.
Drake is well prepared for all this. He is provided with ammunition - he picks them up from the corpses of killed enemies, ably uses shelters, can run, climb, jump, kill with one blow and fight in hand-to-hand combat.
In Uncharted 2 you can find 101 treasures. Some treasures lie almost in sight, others will have to run. Treasures can be sold, and money can be spent on bonus content. Multiplayer mode allows you to play up to 3 people at a time - this is if players follow the adventure story of the game and solve problems together. There are also battle modes, where up to 10 people can participate simultaneously. There are several combat modes, they differ in their objectives and in some ways.
3. Assassin's Creed Odyssey
Assassin's Creed Odyssey is the twentieth game in its series. It is the earliest game in the Assassin's Creed universe chronology and the prequel to Assassin's Creed Origins.
The events of Assassin's Creed Odyssey's take place in the Classical Era of Ancient Greece, in 431 BC, before the Brotherhood of Assassins was even formed. The plot follows a fictionalized story of the Peloponnesian War between city-states of Sparta and Athens that left Greece devastated. The player can choose to control either a male (named Alexios) or female (named Kassandra) protagonist, both of them being descendants of the famous Spartan king Leonidas. The player enters the plot as a mercenary and can side with either Athens or its rival Sparta. There's also the frame story set in the contemporary age. Its protagonist is Layla Hassan, who was also the main character in the frame story of Assassin's Creed Origins.
Unlike most earlier installments of Assassin's Creed, which put the emphasis solely on action, Odyssey has a strong role-playing element in it. Dialogue options and the non-linear plot allow the player to reach several alternate endings. The game also has a reputation system and multiple options for romancing, including same-sex romances. The combat system is similar to that in Origins with the addition of new skills. The game also reintroduces naval battles.
4. UNCHARTED: Drake's Fortune
The game that started the popular Uncharted series. It is all about a treasure hunt in the jungle and ancient ruins and thus somewhat similar in mood and aesthetics to the Tomb Raider series, albeit with a slightly more realistic approach.
The plot follows the adventurer and treasure seeker Nathan Drake, who believes himself to be a distant offspring of the famous Sir Francis Drake. When exhuming his ancestor's remains, Nathan discovers an artifact that supposedly shows him the way to the legendary El Dorado, the city of gold in the Latin American folklore. Accompanied by journalist Elena Fisher, he sets out on a dangerous journey to a remote island. Throughout the game Nathan, controlled by the player, will have to fight pirates, using both melee weapons and firearms, and explore ancient ruins by jumping the cliffs, climbing the walls and swinging from the ropes.
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune includes motion-captured cinematic cutscenes that help develop characters and the plot to the point the game may feel like a blockbuster movie.
5. Devil May Cry 5
Devil May Cry 5 is the sixth game in the Devil May Cry franchise and the fifth in its main series.
The game continues the plot of Devil May Cry 2. The demonic threat seems to have been forgotten, but the demons return, and there are new accidents around the world. Nero and Dante have parted ways, and Nero established his own agency. He also received a new robotic arm made by his engineer Nico. It replaces his Devil Bringer prosthetic that was stolen by a villain. At the beginning of the game, Nero rides his van to Red Grave City in which a demonic tree appeared. At the same time, Dante has a new client, a mysterious V, who hires him to investigate the demonic attacks.
As usual in the Devil May Cry series, the player controls his or her character from the third person view. The game features three playable characters. Dante and Nero make a return, and V is newly introduced. Each of the three characters has a unique fighting style. Nero's prosthetic hand allows him to use a variety of options, such as pulling his enemies closer. Nero also uses his legendary weapons, the gun called “Blue Rose” and the sword named “Red Queen”. Dante, as usual, fights with his swords Rebellion and Sparda, as well as a variety of new weapons, such as chainsaws and a motorcycle. V uses a walking cane as a weapon.

6. Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne
Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne is a third-person shooter, serving as a direct sequel to the first game. The player follows the story of an NYPD detective, tasked with resolving crimes and answering many questions of its predecessor’s story. The game is set in noir tones, providing with main character’s monologues and various cutscenes.
The titular protagonist, Max Payne, is a traumatized officer of the police. After the first game’s events, Max is once again involved in the bloody conflicts of the mafia, with its drama, romance, and bitterness. The game offers its players various game mechanics for maximum replayability. For instance, the difficulty of each level adapts to how you play overall, with enemies dealing less damage and painkillers being more effective if the player has died too many times. The series’s feature mechanic, Bullet Time, is also present in the game, allowing players to plan their movements and save precious ammunition during the slowed time.
The game’s physics engine allows the players to experience the most fearsome battles hand-to-hand, with the realistic destruction of surroundings, cinematographic kills, and dramatic deaths. Max Payne 2 also features a game editor, with user-created modifications serving as a tool to further enhance every playthrough.
7. inFAMOUS First Light
InFAMOUS First Light is a third-person open-world game developed by Sucker Punch. It is a spin-off/prequel hybrid to inFAMOUS Second Son, the third installment in the series.
7 years ago an explosion in a fictional Empire City caused a plague outbreak. During that time people with superpowers known as Conduits start to appear. Most of the conduits died fighting the outbreak. After these events, the U.S. government established the Department of Unified Protection. The Conduits are considered bio-terrorists and held prisoner. The game tells the story of Abigail Walker who possesses the power of neon, how she was captured by the D.U.P. and imprisoned in Curdun Cay. The story is set 3 years before the events of InFAMOUS Second Son.
The game focuses on the neon power that was one of the powers present in InFAMOUS Second Son. Neon power is used for distant precise powerful attacks. The Neon Beam deals a lot of damage yet it has a low fire rate. In addition to normal Neon Beam, it is possible to use Stasis Bubbles that freeze the enemies. A more powerful charged Phosphor Beam is also present. Players can travel at high speeds using the Light Speed.

8. Diablo 3
The third Diablo returns you to the world of Sanctuary, once again invaded by the demons. Twenty years after the ending of Diablo II, a star has fallen on the city of New Tristram, spawning hordes of undead monsters that the player must defeat. As usual in Diablo series, the game has a trademark dark fantasy atmosphere and is mostly set in gloomy dungeons.
The basic gameplay features are the same as in previous Diablo games, but there are many subtle changes. The player can choose one of six character classes (a seventh is available with an expansion). Each class has its unique abilities and class-specific quests. Unlike its predecessors, which used isometric 2D graphics, Diablo III uses 3D, however, it preserves the familiar top-down view. The dungeons are randomly generated and have destructible environments, thanks to the new graphics engine. There’s a new mechanic Skill Runes that is used to improve the character’s skills.
Online multiplayer is available through Battle.net. There are both a co-op mode and a PvP mode called Brawling. The players can create hardcore characters who face permadeath if killed. Even in the single-player mode, Diablo II requires a stable internet connection, because of DRM restrictions.
9. Trine Enchanted Edition
The king died and did not leave an heir, the kingdom fell into civil strife, the land in response to lawlessness and disorder brought to the surface hordes of monsters, increasing chaos.
The magician, knight and thief were united by fate for the struggle for peace and the restoration of the kingdom. Alone and together they fight with enemies, solve puzzles and overcome obstacles on fifteen different levels. Decisions can be more than one, and they can be composed of the skills of all three players.
Exquisite, delicate drawing of the world and characters. Very elegant, subtle, very realistic sounds - yes, realistic sounds of the magic world. That's precisely the way it should be. But when the hero breaks the wall with a ram or stumbles upon a mountain of treasures - the battering ram sounds like a battering ram, and the mountain is imposing. Very cleverly put light makes the world deep, voluminous and alive. Passing the game, you do not want to rush, you want to consider, to discover all its details, to admire them for your pleasure.
The game supports 3D mode, you need a suitable TV and stereoscopic glasses.
10. Serious Sam 3: BFE
The alien monster destroyed all earthlings, except one. But this one has a full set of everything that can be called hardcore and brutality. From the athletic figure and the hoarse voice to short phrases that leave no doubt in the victory. He goes to the past, for it can return everything as it was.
This type of hero sets everything else, the plot is clear and straightforward - run and shoot. It happens on twelve levels, the landscapes of which are created by Nature for bloody and dynamic battles. Everyone who likes to shoot and run will be happy with everything in this game. The best in the genre is collected in one place and cleaned to chemical purity. Even the monsters you meet as old friends - and they also try for you with all their might. They roar, beat and shoot, covering the sky.
There are enough weapons in the game, including hand-to-hand combat skills. Separate pleasure - if you kill monsters by your hands, you need to find your own approach to each. One monster needs to be pulled out of the eye, the other will die only if you wrest the heart. The heart, by the way, can then be thrown in someone - it can kill. There are a lot of pleasant surprises of this kind in the game.
11. Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell
Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell is an action-adventure game, a standalone DLC that serves as an epilogue to Saints Row IV. The Boss is taken by Satan to Hell in order to marry Satan’s daughter Jezebel. Saints lieutenants Johnny Gat and Kinzie Kensington follow them to rescue The Boss. You can play as one of the lieutenants.
The game is set in an open world of New Hades, consisting of five islands, that you can explore flying around. This world is full of side quests, collectibles and other activities that you need to complete to progress through the story. While you can’t customize your character, you obtain superpowers, including summoning demons to support you during the battle, magic aura to confuse enemies, and demon weapons. The core gameplay is third-person shooting but with a twist: instead of bullets your new guns will shoot with explosive toads and locust.
In general, Gat Out of Hell follows the spirit of the franchise, supporting its fast pace and absurd tone that turns another mafia game in a colorful burlesque.
12. Sea of Thieves
Sea of Thieves is a cooperative multiplayer action-adventure game developed by Rare.
The game features a cartoonish pirate aesthetic to it and features no plot whatsoever. The players set out to explore an open shared world. The first thing available to the players is player creation, as the game offers the players to choose one out of eight randomly generated characters. After that, the players are let go to the open world.
There is no certain objective present in the game. The players have to create a story for themselves.
Players can take mission known as voyages. Voyages require you to locate an island on the map, sail to it, find a treasure, dig it out, and safely bring it back to the game's hub island. You will get gold upon completion. Gold can be obtained either through voyages mentioned above, boarding and raiding other players' ships or clearing out a fort full of skeletons who have a lot of gold hidden in their stronghold.
The gold can be used to buy cosmetic upgrades, such as new ship bodies or skins for your weapons. There are four weapons present in the game, with the players being able to carry two at the time.
The game relies on the player to player interaction, as they are able to dance, use emotes or even get drunk together either on the ship or on the game's hub island bar. The ships cannot be appropriately handled by only one player, so it is a must to gather a team.

In Resogun, the player pilots a small futuristic airship trying to shoot down wave after wave of airborne enemies. Its graphics are based on voxels (3D pixels), which provide a simple yet colorful visual style reminiscent of Lego constructions or pixel art. All five levels vaguely remind neon-lighted, skyscraper-dominated metropolises at night. They are also based on an unusual cylindrical, ring-shaped design. The levels rotate when the airship moves right or left and scroll when you fly up or down. Each level ends with a boss fight.
Eliminating enemies is the main objective in Resogun, but there’s also an optional objective to save the prisoners from their cages. Rescuing humans earns the player additional points, which is essential to set the high score. There are three modes: the Arcade mode, in which you simply pass through the consecutive levels; the Single Level mode, in which your goal is to obtain the highest score on a certain level; and a cooperative multiplayer for two. The player can select one of three airships that have different characteristics. Difficulty can also be adjusted on a scale from Rookie to Hero.

Singularity is a shooter game developed by Raven Software.
The protagonist is Captain Nathaniel Renko, a part of a U.S. Recon Marines group. The action starts from an uninhabited island called Katorga-12.
An electromagnetic surge from the island hits an American satellite, and the unit goes there to investigate the place. Another surge damages the crew’s helicopter; Nathaniel is the only person who stays alive. He fades out to find himself in the past. At this point, the plot twists; every event in the past has an impact on the present. Back in 1955, Nathaniel meets Nikolai Demichev, a Soviet scientist working at Katorga-12. Further on, Renko and Demichev run against each other during the whole story; their interactions are at the core of the game.
Singularity is the first-person shooter; the player performs the protagonist's actions. The main gameplay device is not a weapon, but an artifact called the Time Manipulation Device. Using that, the player can move the protagonists and objects around back and forth in time. At some point the player has to make choices; they affect the game result. The game also has multiplayer modes; the player can perform either as a soldier or as a creature, one of the individuals inhabiting Katorga-12.
The game’s concept is based on the Cold War era. Some features are inspired by exploration of military bases back in the 20th century and by sci-fi movies.
Skullgirls is a fighting game developed by Lab Zero and primarily published by Marvelous and Autumn Games. Since its initial release in 2012, it has received two free extensions, Skullgirls Encore and Skullgirls 2nd Encore and while its roster initially consisted of an all-female cast of 8 characters, 6 more characters were added, 5 being developed thanks to the game's Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign, including 2 male characters. At its release, Skullgirls was developed by Reverge Labs, but the team that created the game split off from the company to form Lab Zero. In Japan, the game is published by Arc System Works. On Nintendo Switch, the game is published by Skybound Games.
Skullgirls takes place in the Canopy Kingdom, inspired by 1940s America, in which corruption and conflict runs rampant. Once every seven years, an artifact called the Skull Heart appears, granting the wish of one woman. However, if the Skull Heart is used by a woman with impure intentions, it will control her, turning her into a destructive monster called the Skullgirl. Not once has anyone used the Skull Heart without falling to its curse. The game follows the stories of 14 characters on their way to face the Skullgirl and retrieve the Heart, be it for the greater good or simply their own gain.
The game is a tribute to Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and its mechanics are intended as a more polished version of the classic fighting game title, with some original ideas. In a standard player vs. player match, each player controls one character out a chosen number of one to three characters which they can switch to at any time. They can also call their inactive characters to perform assist attacks. Like most Marvel vs. Capcom-inspired games, Skullgirls is fast-paced and features long, complex combos based on animation cancels. It introduces a burst system which allows players to break their opponent's combo if it becomes too long.
Skullgirls features a 'dark deco'-inspired art style mixed with some horror themes and a jazz and rock soundtrack consisting of 28 tracks. In 2013, the game set the Guinness World Record Gamer's Edition record for most average frames of animation per character in a video game, reaching 1,439 frames per character and 11,515 frames total for its initial eight-character roster.
In February 2013, Skullgirls came in second in a crowdfunding event organized by fighting game website Shoryuken to decide what would be the final game featured on the EVO 2013 line up, with all proceeds sent to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Skullgirls raised over $US 78,000. While it was not featured as an EVO main game, EVO organizers supported the game's side event by providing prize money and advertisement.

Galaxy On Fire 2 is the second part in its series and the sequel to the original Galaxy On Fire. It is a game about futuristic spaceflight.
The protagonist is Keith T. Maxwell, a space pilot who was also the main character in the original game. When his ship malfunctions, he accidentally travels thirty-five years to the future. There, a space trader Gunant Breh rescues Maxwell, hires him and gives him a new ship. Keith has to gather ore, fight against pirate attacks and investigate lost space stations.
The player navigates the protagonist's ship through space. He or she can mine ore to gain money, explore multiple star systems, fight pirates, and complete other missions. The "jump gates" connect the star systems, allowing the player to travel between them instantly. However, within the systems themselves, the player has to pilot his or her ship manually.
While in spaceports, the player controls Maxwell himself. There, the protagonist can sell his ore and loot, buy upgrades for the ship, such as better engines or weapons, repair the ship, or even buy an entirely new vessel. There's also a bar, in which the NPCs can provide the main character with optional quests that earn him money.
Full HD version
The original Galaxy On Fire 2 was developed for mobile devices. The Full HD version features enhanced graphics and can run on a PC. This version has a slightly reduced content and does not include the DLCs and some of the original game's star systems.
19. Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade
Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade is a real-time strategy game developed by Relic Entertainment. This is the fourth part of the Dawn of War series.
The game is set in a dystopian vision of the future. In the universe, humanity developed a galaxy empire called The Imperium of Man. The main characters are humans and galaxy monsters, such as the Space Marines, the Eldar, and the Orks. The player aims to perform in battles and make points. These points can be used in the shop as an exchange for new items.
The player can choose his protagonist: it may be anyone from the races and factions except for the Tyranids, an army of enemies. The player can buy different items, such as weapons or the character’s appearance. He can also change the chosen race or faction during the game. Eternal Crusade features classic RTS visuals like galaxy views, rockets, spaceships, explosions, and lots of vehicles. The player can track his progress by advancing through classes: they differ from infantry to ground assault. It lets the player join veterans and elites of the universe.
The developers launched the founder program before the game was released; it let the players buy additional packs and get the game keys and bonuses before the release.
20. Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus
Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus is a spin-off installment of the Oddworld game series. It is a direct sequel to the Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee.
The game is set in the Oddworld, a planet in another dimension, ten times larger than our Earth. Among its inhabitants, there's the race of Mudokons, a species of spiritual humanoids who can control others' minds. Many Mudokons serve as the slaves to their more technically advanced enemies, Glukons. The protagonist is Abe, a blue-skinned Mudokon who escaped slavery and freed many of his compatriots.
The game begins right after the ending of Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. Abe learns that the evil Glukons use Mudokons as slaves in the Necrum Mines. The protagonist sets off on a quest to liberate the slaves. There, he discovers that Glukons' popular drink called Soulstorm Brew is brewed from the bones and tears of the enslaved Mudokons. Abe's goal is to destroy the Soulstorm Brewery and to set his people free. The ending depends on the number of Mudokons the player saved.
Oddworld combines platforming with puzzles. Its levels consist of sections that occupy one screen each and require the player to overcome puzzles to move on. Abe cannot fight his enemies, but he can use his spiritual powers to defeat them, save Mudokons and advance through the levels. Abe's abilities include mind control, interacting with fellow Mudokons and limited telekinesis. To save Mudokons, Abe has to comfort them if they're angry or depressed. If he doesn't, they can harm others or themselves.

23. Unreal 2: The Awakening
Unreal 2: The Awakening is a first-person shooter game developed by Legend Entertainment. It is the continuation of the first Unreal game.
Unreal 2 takes place 36 years after the events of the first game and its expansion pack. John Dalton, a Terran Colonial Authority Marshall patrols the deep space with his crew. He arrives at the TCA headquarters to get a new mission where he finds indestructible alien artifacts. It is later found out that the Scaarjes hunt these artifacts too with Izanagi and Liandri corporations catching up. Dalton has to fight off his enemies and figure out what to do with the mysterious artifacts.
At its release, Unreal 2 was a singleplayer-only title, but multiplayer modes were later added to the game.
The game's singleplayer is not much different from its multiplayer. The players traverse fairly open-ended levels either on foot or using the vehicles spawned on the level. Sometimes it is necessary to solve several puzzles or find some keys to continue further into the game. On several occasions, the players are required to hold a specific area with other non-playable characters and turrets helping them out.
The game's multiplayer mode is basically a port of Unreal Tournament 2004 that was embedded into Unreal 2 and features several gameplay changes, such as the addition of the class system.

Koudelka (Japanese: クーデルカ, Hepburn: Kūderuka) is a role-playing video game (RPG) developed for the PlayStation home console. The debut title of Sacnoth, the game was published by SNK in Japan in 1999 and by Infogrames overseas in 2000. Set in the haunted Nemeton Monastery in Wales, the game follows protagonists Koudelka Iasant, Edward Plunkett and Bishop James O'Flaherty as they uncover Nemeton's secrets and confront monsters created from its dark past. Gameplay blends exploration and puzzle elements from survival horror with turn-based battles played out on a grid.
Koudelka was the creation of Hiroki Kikuta, a former employee of Square who formed Sacnoth with former Square staff members in 1998 to develop the game. Kikuta served as director, producer, writer and composer. To create an authentic atmosphere, the staff went on research trips to Wales and all dialogue was performed in English. The traditional turn-based battle system was created without Kikuta's involvement due to staff disputes. Upon release, the game received mixed reviews from critics. Koudelka would form the foundation for Sacnoth's Shadow Hearts series.
