1. Stardew Valley

The hero (in the beginning you can choose gender, name and appearance) - an office worker who inherited an abandoned farm. The landscape of the farm can also be selected. For example, you can decide whether there will be a river nearby for fishing.
The farm area needs to be cleared, and it will take time.
The hero has many different activities: plant and care for plants, raise livestock, practice crafts, extract ore, and also enter into relationships with residents of the neighbouring town to earn game money. Relationships with characters include communication, performing tasks for money, exchanging, searching for fossils and even military actions and marrying. The character is limited by the reserve of strength and health - both parameters are visible on the screen, and the game automatically puts the hero to rest if the limit of his capabilities is close. The game does not set any ultimate or primary goal, its many possibilities are designed for an unlimited time.

2. Sang-Froid - Tales of Werewolves

Sang-Froid: Tales of Werewolves is a tower defense game. It is based on the Native American and Canadian folktales and prominently features mythological creatures like werewolves and wendigos.

Plot

The game is set in Canada in the XIX century. The protagonists are two brothers O'Carroll who set their differences aside to save their sister. Every night, a pack of werewolves and other monsters attack her house. If they fail, the Devil himself will abduct the poor woman. The brothers have to hold on for three weeks in the midst of December.

Gameplay

The player assumes the role of one of the brothers and controls them from the top down view. The goal is to defend the house and other buildings. The game is divided into days and nights. By day, the player can prepare his or her defenses by setting traps. The protagonists have a limited number of action points and money to spend on the traps. The more buildings there are, the more action points the player has, but also the more difficult they are to protect.

By night, the werewolf invasion puts the player's preparations to the test. Enemies come in waves by random numbers. However, the player has all important information about the strength of the opponents. The protagonist can fight the monsters directly using his axe and a musket. The latter is ranged but has limited ammo and a long loading time. The player can also intimidate the monsters so that they will not attack his or her character.

6. Agarest: Generations of War

At the dawn of time, a terrible war raged between the forces of good and evil, ending in the destruction of the world of Agarest. After their victory, the Gods of Light unified the decaying bodies of the Gods of Darkness and created a new world.
Now, the forces of darkness are awakening once again…

• Build your ultimate army of warriors and master Extra Skills, Special Arts and Over Kills to defeat colossal enemies!
• Unite with your chosen heroine and use the “Soul Breed” system to shape the fate of the next generation of heroesAgarest: Generations of War - Exclusive game features!Agarest: Generations of War includes many unique features that cannot be found in any other Strategy Role Playing Game. Here's a summary of some of the best:
Extended Area
Extended Area is the "Linked Area" set for both your party and your enemies. Each character in the game has a uniquely shaped extended area. When a character's turn comes around, all other characters in the Extended Area of the character in play (and characters in the extended areas of those characters!) can combine in an extended attack. This allows you to chain your party's attacks together, allowing access to more Arts and huge Combos!
Blacksmith's Guild
You can upgrade various Items and Equipment at the Blacksmith's Guild in two different ways:
By Enhancement: You can enhance equipment to a maximum of Level 5. Once an Item is enhanced to Level 5, you can convert the Item, changing it into something else. This process is irreversible and the original item is lost. Experimentation reveals some great new items!
Through Alchemy: Alchemy allows you to combine several items to create a single, more powerful piece of equipment. While you lose the items used in the alchemy, you gain a powerful new piece of equipment and permanent access to your new item in the Shop! Alchemy can create powerful new weapons and armour but occasionally a Smithing Accident will occur and the smith will create a different item than what you expected!
The "Soul Breed" system
Agarest takes place across 5 generations of heroes, starting with your first character, Leonhardt. During each generation you will build relationships with 3 different female party members, and at the end of each generation's story arc you must choose to marry one of the girls.
Your choice of marriage partner is restricted to girls who've grown fond of you over a particular generation. Your options are determined by your choices during conversations at certain points of the story.
The girl you choose as your wife - and the strength of their relationship with you - will determine the abilities of the main character in the next generation of the story. You'll have to experience multiple play throughs to see all of the character possibilities open to you! What heroes might you create?Free DLC includedBasic Pack - A basic package. 8. AKIBA'S TRIP: Undead & Undressed

Akihabara. "Akiba," for short.
This suburban Tokyo ward's seen it all, from Japan's post-war reconstruction to the economic bubblegum crisis of the '80s. Always on the cutting edge of progress, with a little something to offer even the most fetishistic of appetites, it was almost inevitable that this singular technocracy of indulgence would give birth to a whole new kind of appetite altogether.
Enter, the “Synthisters” – vampires who prey upon the life energy of the town’s unsuspecting figurine-chasers, maid café connoisseurs and cosplayers. Those victimized by Synthisters take on the properties of their attackers while also withdrawing from society and becoming veritable shut-ins due to their newfound fatal weakness to sunlight.
AKIBA’S TRIP tells the story of one such unfortunate soul: a young man named Nanashi who was lured into a trap by the promise of rare character goods and transformed into one of the walking undead. He, however, was spared the worst of his fate by the bloody kiss of a mysterious Synthister hunter named Shizuku. Together with the rest of his companions in an organization unofficially dubbed the “Akiba Freedom Fighters,” Nanashi and Shizuku must uncover the truth behind the Synthister plague and save Akiba from being overrun by violent, antisocial energy vampires.
And of course, the best way to fight vampires is to strip them down to their skivvies so they melt in the noonday sun…KEY FEATURESFaithful Recreation of Japan’s Electronics Mecca
Like a virtual tour of Tokyo’s Akihabara district, all major outdoor locations from the town have been painfully recreated, with over 130 real-life shops accurately represented.
Unique and Customizable Brawler-Style Combat
Anything can be a weapon, from baseball bats to comics to motherboards, and individual clothing items may be targeted, stripped and added to the player’s own inventory.
Satirical Story with Divergent Paths and Multiple Endings
Playing off common anime and video game tropes for social satire, the player’s choices determine how the story progresses, leading to one of many unique endings.
Modern Day Setting Enhances Gameplay Options and Adds Pop Culture Feel
The in-game smartphone is used to check email, read comments on “Pitter,” take side quests, catalog ad flyers, launch apps to identify the undead and much, much more.
Please note that the buildings and monuments depicted in the game AKIBA'S TRIP are based on the Akihabara town area from the fall of 2012 through the summer of 2013.

9. Cult of the Wind

Cult of the Wind is a game about people who pretend to be airplanes.
"In an unknown time and place, a cult that worships the wreckage of ancient airplanes gathers to mimic the dogfights of old. With the peak of humanity far behind, their world is a mausoleum to a lush and verdant Art Deco past."
In Cult of the Wind, players compete and cooperate in ritualistic multi-player human dogfights, complete with imaginary weapons, pretend explosions, and airplane noises made with their mouths. Shower your friends in a hail of imaginary bullets and proclaim, "I got you! You have to lie down," to which they respond, "Nuh-uh, I have a shield." You argue about whether or not airplanes can have shields, meanwhile some other guy does a cannonball onto your head while whistling. It's great.
With an intuitive point-and-click level editor you'll be able to craft new levels or modify existing ones, then immediately share them with anyone on a server, even if you aren't the host. You can also craft a personalized appearance for your character with numerous articles of clothing and more.

16. Dragon Knight

My ability is limited, but I am still aspired to make an exciting IG (independent game). The second IG Dragon Knight is a 2D side-scrolling action game with Rogue-like random elements. From the sketch design of original characters and monsters, you could probably guess that I am a big fan of MH series games. Yes, from P2 till now, my path to hunter has never stopped.

Smooth striking is pretty important for an action game, which is also a great challenge for me. Now my idea is to try to make a game with more violence aesthetics. Besides, I can design weapons and equipment based on monsters’ characteristics. Characters can not only change their appearance but also obtain skills and attributes randomly after picking up the equipment, which gives you a new experience every time you replay it. Rampage Knights and Lost Castle did a great job on that aspect, which have given me great help and inspiration.

Of course, all of the above is just the beginning of my dream, your participation and encouragement are what really matters in order for this rough beta version to evolve, step by step, into a genuinely unique and excellent game. Thank you all again for your support!

Main Game Features:
■ Plenty of Rogue-Like random elements
■ Randomly generated passes, equipment and monsters
■ Elaborately designed Boss combat, pretty exciting
■ Inspired from the Ultimate Skill in Mortal Kombat, add violence aesthetics-reflecting special skills in the combat.
■ Over 200 weapons, using different weapons will produce different moves and skills
■ Over 20 armors, changing armors will also change character’s appearance, moreover, if character is being continuously struck by enemies, the armor will be destroyed

19. Deadly Sin 2

A thousand years of peace are shattered by betrayal, political upheaval, and war. Play as the hero Carrion Iblis, as the story of Siegfried, the Empire's true successor, plunges the world further and further into darkness.

Immerse yourself in a world of conflict as several opposing factions clash for dominance over the Archaelus Empire and its people. Take up the mighty blade of Carrion Iblis as he and his friends tear through a massive web of manipulation. Theirs is a journey that will crack open the doors of destiny, setting the stage for a truly epic struggle for the fate of the world!

In this adventure, Carrion must clash against enemies from within and without. He will face down his own countrymen, repel an invasion of undead foes, conquer his personal demons, find love, and challenge the power of the heavens.

Deadly Sin 2 is a 20-30 hour fantasy RPG epic. It is not a direct sequel to Deadly Sin 1; much like the games in the Final Fantasy series, Deadly Sin 2 is merely the next in a line of spiritual successors to the original. Deadly Sin 2 boasts a massively improved battle and menu system, as well as all-new features.

1) A fully scripted, back-view, conditional turn-based battle system by Mithran. This is a sophisticated evolution of the traditional RPG battle formula that includes a winner-take-all threat system, and new stats, including Speed, Build, Shield Block, MP Regen, and Equipment Weight.

2) An original soundtrack written by the game creator, Harmonic.

3) A large amount of dynamic, enjoyable, and rewarding side-quests that bring the world to life!

4) Augment system: customize any weapon, shield, or helm/body/arm armor with augments that you find or purchase around the world. Augments add stats, status effects, elemental changes, and other enhancements that are endlessly fun to play around with.

5) In-depth skill point system: each PC has a unique skill tree. Invest skill points gained from leveling up or completing quests. If you don't like how your character is developing, you can have your skill points refunded at an inn!

6) Monster nodes: find these nodes to disable random encounters and obtain skill points. If you want to fight enemies again, the monster nodes can be turned back on at your will!

7) Mouse interface: you can use the mouse to do almost everything, including movement. You can choose not to use the mouse by simply moving it off screen. Use Alt-Enter to toggle full screen mode.

Class systemAfter you progress through the first 4 missions in the campaign, you are able to choose a class to augment your abilites in battle. The classes are non-linear, you can pick and choose skills from any class, but you have to focus on a class if you want to get the most powerful skills.
  • The Mighty Warlord greatly increases the effectiveness of your army! He improves the power and abilities of your defenders, can unleash the power of stone to help in battle; allowing placement of stones to slow nearby enemies, or give you a surge of mana and gold. He also has skills which allow your defenders to level up in battle, becoming more powerful with each successive rank.
  • The Cunning Treasurer's weapon is gold! He is a master of item storage, able to fit an improbably large number of items into his backpack, and find many more scrolls and even potions during battles. Everything he does is for gold! He is able to increase bounty for enemies killed, make his own defenders cheaper, and eventually can even get a powerful spell that allows you to transmute an enemy into pure gold! With all of these abilities, the Treasurer can field a much bigger army than any other class.
  • The Powerful Sorcerer is able to complete levels using only spells! He can bring up to eight spells into battle, increasing flexibilty greatly. His skills revolve around buffing spell effectiveness, regenerating mana, unlocking more powerful spells, and he can even transform units into mana. Among the spells the sorcerer can unlock are: Summon Elemental, Reduction; which shrinks and debuffs monsters, Meteor Shower, and Teleportation; which allows you to teleport defenders to any available stone on the map.

21. Labyrinthine Dreams

Labyrinthine Dreams is a short puzzle game about Beth, a young woman who is standing at Death’s Door. After a traumatic childhood and a tough entry into the world of adulthood, she was just starting to take control of her life. However, she is now up against an insidious enemy who threatens to take everything away from her. During what may be her final hours, Beth wanders through important moments in her life while also staying a few steps ahead of the monster who won’t rest until she is no more.
Mazes in dreams are said to symbolize the dreamer’s feeling of “being trapped.” As Beth tries to find meaning and strength in her life, players must guide her through a variety of mazes, each with its own twist. The most challenging sections are reserved for confrontations with the monster, who must be outmaneuvered and outwitted to proceed.
Features

  • A unique and emotionally powerful story with vivid characters and potent real-world themes.
  • A variety of mazes which challenge players while complementing the narrative.
  • Gorgeous artwork that brings the surreal world of Beth’s unconscious to life.
  • A captivating original score from Joel Steudler.
  • Voice acting that drives home the story’s emotion.

22. Kick Ass Commandos

Lock and Load! It's time to KickAss and... Well, it's just time to KickAss. Grab your machinegun, flamethrower, rocket launcher and grenades. Assault the enemy base and free commandos to join your team while you destroy everything you see. Make your way through enemy bunkers to rescue your comrades, and kill everyone else you encounter!

  • KickAss Action
  • Weather Forecast: Bullet Storm with Hail of Grenades
  • Explosions. Big, Big Explosions.
  • Did we mention the Explosions?
  • Grenades, Flamethrowers, Machineguns, Rocket Launchers

Colonel Stone is the leader of the KickAss Commandos. He is tough as nails and takes no crap from anyone. If you want to be a KickAss Commando under his command, you personally owe him 100 pairs of boots taken from the bodies of 100 dead enemies!
Lex Lightning - Men want to be him, and women want to be with him. The magic of his mustache simply drives the women crazy, and his prowess on the battlefield makes his enemies shrink like your balls in a winter speedo.
Sgt. Mohawk is by far the strongest commando. He once pulled a broken down tank to the top of the hill to use it as his personal shoulder-mounted rocket launcher.
Corporal Blaze is also known as the “hottest” Commando, but that’s not because of his looks. He’s used his flamethrower to torch enemies across the globe.
Corporal T-Bone is so proud of his chiseled physique that he never wears a shirt, not even on missions in the arctic.
Lieutenant Ginger is the newest officer to join the Commandos. Rumor has it the only way he made it to the Commandos is because his family is connected to the highest levels of the government. He has a lot to prove if he wants to be accepted by the other Commandos.
Delta Ops - If we told you anything about these super secretive, elite forces, we’d have to kill you. So we’ll leave it at that.
Nameless Privates - Don’t bother to get to know them, because they probably won’t last long. Great for clearing minefields, going around dangerous corners, or just about any place bullets might fly.
General Irons is the unquestioned, totalitarian leader of the elite Tiger Division. During battle, he can usually be found sitting up high in a tower or on a wall directing his legion of soldiers and firing rockets into oncoming foes. He has made a blood oath to one day personally kill Colonel Stone with his bare hands!
Major Schwarz was totally incompetent and dropped every weapon he ever held, so they promoted him up the chain of command and gave him a crate of grenades. He’s not accurate, but he’s got butterfingers and grenades in volume.
Before joining the most evil enemy organization on the planet, the Commandant was know as the world’s most deadly assassin. General Irons personally recruited him to head up the Division’s secret operations battalion.
Red Devils usually work in squads of 5 or more basterds. They all wield powerful shotguns to spray waves of deadly bullets at their foes.
Rumor has it the Fire Strykers snort lines of cayenne pepper before charging into battle with flamethrowers, setting fire to everything in their path. Entire cities have been burned to the ground by these faceless, ruthless killers.
Killer Snipers are deadly for miles away. The combination of their next-gen, high powered rifles, along with their genetically modified “eagle eyes” makes them one of the world’s most accurate and efficient killers. Use cover such as trees, trucks, or even nameless privates to get close enough to take them out.
Troopers are plentiful and disposable. These guys are a dime a dozen. Nobody wants to be killed by the standard enemy lackeys, so if you fall to them in battle make sure you eat one of your own grenades so nobody knows!
The Rocket Brothers are the most feared tandem of killers the world has ever seen. These brothers are giants among men and carry rocket launchers that fire 5 rockets at a time. If someone feels the need to have a rocket launcher that big, does it mean they're trying to compensate for something else being too small?
Inside every enemy Tank is a tiny little baddie who wasn’t brave enough to fight like a man, and that just won’t do. It’s your job to pry them open like canned beans and put the smack down.

30. Where are my Internets?

"Where are my Internets? " It is a board game set in a strange fictional world that resembles our present-day world, but with elements of humour and surreal events. You play as a typical city person who arrives in a desolate countryside with no trace of the internet. Your aim is to survive in these tough conditions. There is only one way you can do it: become an internet provider, and get online.
Features
● Unusual idea and setting.
● Original graphics with a unique style.
● Pleasant atmospheric soundtrack.
● Single Player, with up to four Characters (Hotseat only)
● A lot of surprises and humor.
How to play
The game is based on a single player turned based board game with 1-4 characters
The aim of the game is to bring the internet to every village on the map. It requires money, which can be obtained by selling items you earn from using the cards.
These are the player Characters. You decide the number of spaces the Characters will move on the board by rolling the dice. But each player has a limited number of moves, they are called mood points. The player loses one mood point per turn, except when they are in the vicinity of a village. When the number of mood points reaches zero, the player is out. Players can replenish their mood points when they access the internet.
The game features three types of location.
The first is the wilderness. When a player is in the wilderness, they have a choice on each turn between staying to activate some event card and going further. There are 27 event cards, of which 3 are unique to each type of location. The wilderness location has the following land types.
Each card describes a different event, usually a fight. If the player wins the fight, they gain an item card, if they lose, they lose one mood point. There are a few surprise cards, marked with a question mark, for unexpected events.
Players can sell items they have earned, and get onto the internet in a village. The cost of internet use will go up each time you connect to and or use it. If the village already has a connection, players can simply use it (but must pay the owner). An indicator in the upper right corner shows whether the village is connected or not, and who owns the connection.
If a player's token is somewhere near an internet-connected village, the player can get a remote internet signal and replenish their stamina as if they were in the village.
If there is no signal, the player has to draw a fight card.
You can also tweak your dice move by using bonus cards. These are given out after you finish a circle, and sometimes also drop from the chests.
I hope you have a great time playing our game with hours of enjoyment, and a fun!

46. Mad Digger

The treasure lies at a depth of more than 100 yards. That's a job for the Mad Digger!
Once Grandpa Pecos decided to share a secret with his grandson — there's a hidden treasure buried somewhere on the former mine. But there's one problem. The treasure lies very deep underground at a depth of more than 100 yards! Then the grandson thought about his friend, the Mad Digger. He's the only one to get things done.
Your task is to dig deeper and deeper until you find the treasure. It's not as simple as it seems. The oxygen runs out with every descent, you need to extract minerals to improve your equipment and tools as well as to buy grenades and dynamite to make the descent faster.Equipment description:
Pickaxe — your main tool. Upgrade it to dig faster and more efficiently.
Oxygen Tank — allows you to stay underground for a long time. Upgrade it to increase the time limit.
Drill — a big drill which allows you to pass the first layers much faster and collect more resources.
Grenade — has a small radius of action, but all the blocks blown up by a grenade never go waste, and if they contain something useful (resource or oxygen), you will take it.
Dynamite — has a large radius of action, it is very convenient when you need to quickly cover a considerable distance. Dynamite has a drawback when compared to a grenade: it destroys everything in its path, and if you blew a block with a resource, you won't get it.
RadWater — water with moderate radiation dose. It makes the Digger 10 times stronger and faster while active.

49. Spiritlands

Spiritlands is a 4X casual resource and people management game in which you create or generate lands of over 3000 isometric tiles and build a populous from campfire to teeming city, from collecting resources, to building and assigning hundreds of workers to a variety of roles including farmers, explorers, and soldiers!
The game pits you against a changing and challenging world- only this time you are it's creator! With hundreds of thousands of possibilities, from desert lands, to waste lands, each world you create changes your gameplay. Explore your world with generated ruins and enemy camps, as you discover, research, and fight to improve and protect your people as you grow.

The story:
Humanity has become consumed with greed. While some grow richer, others are starving. Riots have dismantled many of the world governments, and people seek refuse from the chaos and carnage that now plagues the Earth.

In an attempt to free yourself from damnation, you branched out on your own path to the fabled eighth continent, hundreds of miles from the shores of any established country.

Few had dared to travel across the sea into the mist- with tales of lost ships and ancient wars that once destroyed the Spiritlands.
For you however, the danger draws you in... the mysteries, the colonies, the freedom to create and do as you desire.

You dream of making your own civilisation, to start again! Through blood, wealth, or discovery you will rise with your people, from the wood of the forests, to the iron from the mountains, the Spiritlands will become your home.
The goal:
Spiritlands is a game about possibility and survival. The goal is open-ended, to establish as many settlements you want, with as much population or size as you want.
You might want to create masses of resource guzzling cities with skyscrapers and tarmac roads that tear down the nature that once was there. Or you might want to make hamlets and towns, each producing different goods that share across your civilisation, preserving the nature as sources of happiness. Either is possible- and so is anything in between! Your lands are yours to build up as you please. The end goal is to look at what you have made and feel proud of it.
The people:

Your people need 5 things:
- Water
- Power
- Happiness
- Food
- Shelter
Your people are your explorers, workers and soldiers- they fuel your growth and are specific to the settlement they are in.
Resources:
Resources are the corner stone for each settlement that you control. Resources fuel buildings and your people, from feeding them to training them. In the early game, you can click or click-hover over tiles to collect their resources. As a leader you make the first buildings in your Capital. Soon after your resources become automated as you create farms, lumbermills, quarries, mine, and fishing areas and assign your people as needed.

Each resource has a rate create by consumption of your automation. You must keep resources in the positive to
survive.

Main resources:
- Food
- Wood
- Stone
- Coal.
Exploration:
Spiritlands definitely isn't a game about staying in one area with one settlement. You are encourages to explore, carefully. Placing campfires, you break through the fog the of the lands, uncovering old ruins that you can tell your people to explore for loot chests. You can also uncover colonies that you can trade or fight with.

There are also enemy encampments of different sizes, who will attack your settlements if you are large enough to be noticed. You can also attack them. Exploring uncovers more lands, more resource tiles, and more opportunities!
Colonies:
There are 4 colonies across your lands:
The Port Keepers- they run a harbour with ships that create food.
The Woodlanders- they run lumbermills for wood.
The Stonecutters- they live in the hills mining stone.
The Miners- who live in the mountains and trade coal.

Each colony can be traded with at your markets. Once discovered you can befriend them by trading with them the resources that they need, so that they can build and eventually provide you with freebees! Anger them through attacks though and they will hunt your people.
Combat:
Whether you are fighting encampments or waging wars on colonies- combat is a necessary part of expanding. By building attack barracks, you can create a collective army of soldiers to use as you wish. They are trained purely in attack, and can be researched to be made stronger. Sometimes you will come under attack, especially if you leave an enemy encampment alone for too long. So you need defences...

Everywhere has a viewable defence score. Attacks will centre on one of your buildings, but will damage the surrounding area. You can build walls to increase your score, as well as creating defensive barracks or watch towers and posting soldiers.
Research (a work in progress!)

Research comes in 3 paths:

1) The Discoverers -
Discoverers seek peaceful routes to knowledge, unvailing the world and the secrets in it is their goal, while preserving the natural landscape around them.
2) The Evolutionists -
Evolutionists pursue prosperity and growth. They want to control vast areas with masses of resources and highly developed land.
3) The Conquerors -
Conquorers desire power above all else. They wish to route out all competitors and destroy them, and to be the only sign of life in these lands.

Research can increase production power, add buildings such as water towers, armouries and taverns, and even encourage cannibalism.
Map editor:
The Map Editor is the first thing you see after entering your name and the name of your civilisation. On the screen are 3 different sized paintbrushes, as well as a tile selection panel so you can paint tiles. You can also adjust sliders to regenerate your land- as well as paste in seeds you might get from the forum for example.

The Editor is really easy to use, allowing you to create beautiful hand-made landscapes. The default areas are perfectly usable and randomly generated, but you can create dead wastelands, vast deserts, biome based places or one single island to fight over- you can even recreate some of your favourite maps from other games!
Scenarios (a work in progress!)
Scenarios add a new dimension to the game. They start you in developer hand made lands, with existing settlements and buildings, with challenges to overcome- similar to old Rollercoaster Tycoon games!

Your goal is to stabilise all settlements and regain control. Whether you need to quickly forge an army to defeat enemy encampments- or save a settlement from extinction! You will wonder how the mess could have been created in the first place.

Scenarios are fun additions for players who have became experienced in the main game.
Spiritlands is a fun game packed with content and lots to manage and grow. If you like incremental games, and games of this style you will enjoy this game! Brought to you by the creators of Project Abyss, we work with players to make any adjustments we agree are needed- and many tweaks and small features have been added this way!
