20. Headsnatchers

Hold onto your head with Headsnatchers, a stupidly hectic up-to-4-player local and online multiplayer party-game where you snatch your friends’ heads to come out victorious. Because, let’s face it, you’ll do anything to win.LOCAL AND ONLINE MULTIPLAYER, BUT SUPER WEIRD
Challenge your friends to insane brawls, where the goal is to pluck heads from shoulders and use them to get that much-desired victory! Headsnatchers has 25 ridiculous maps with unique, yet unlikely, weapons and features, with their own steps and rules to follow. Well, they’re more like guidelines. Nobody likes rules. Dunk your buddies’ heads through hoops like LeBron, kick your grandpa’s gobbler through a portal to hell like Doomguy™ and flush your sister’s brain-basket down the toilet like the dooky you pushed out five hours after you shoved that XL pizza down your face. You name it, Headsnatchers has got it. Probably.
*The online mode currently has 6 playable maps, but that number will grow as Headsnatchers continues development in Early Access. Custom heads aren’t supported in the online mode at this time. Keep an eye on the Steam announcements and forum to stay up to date!
OFF WITH THEIR (100+) HEADS
Because apparently kids nowadays are all about self-expression and unique identifiers, we felt we couldn’t stay behind the times. With over 100 unique heads to choose from, there’s a head for everyone. Did we mention there are pop culture references? There’s a head that resembles that one angry guy from that anime you used to love, and one from a children's show with a certain mathematically challenged Count. If you don’t like any of those, make your own heads using the Headitor! You can save up to 20 heads, so go nuts trying to recreate those school dweebs who used to pick you last for gym.
A SINGLE-PLAYER MODE MADE JUST FOR YOU
Sometimes you just need a little me-time - we totally get it. Rip it up in the single-player Zombie Castle-mode! This single-player feature spans across three different difficulty levels. “But, my dudes, every game has multiple difficulties nowadays”, we hear you thinking. Zombie Castle is different throughout its easy, normal and hard modes. Different levels, different everything, same zombies. We’re calling it right now: you can’t beat them all. Probably.OBLIGATORY KEY FEATURE BULLET POINTS
We’re sorry, but we just have to go over all of the features one last time. Okay, ready?

  • Local and online* multiplayer, support up to 4 players
  • 4 game modes and 25 unique levels
  • Zombie Castle single-player mode, for when you really need some me-time
  • Choose from 100 heads
  • A limitless custom head creator* (yes, we’re calling it the Headitor, and there’s nothing you can do about it) that allows you to save up to 20 custom heads*

*The online mode currently has 6 playable maps, but that number will grow as Headsnatchers continues development in Early Access. Custom heads aren’t supported in the online mode at this time. Keep an eye on the Steam announcements and forum to stay up to date!

21. Legend of Merchant

This is a personal made game, I did all the programming and made most textures. It won't have amazing game play or some deep thoughts but completeness and a bit of fun. It would be great for me if someone like the game.
PS: Thanks to Arcadia for translation of in game text and steam store page.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Provide auto-saving at the end of each day, you can continue playing by clicking "continue" button. But there's only one slot, when you start new game, old profile would be cover-written.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Hotkey:
1. Use "Max" button to set the max buy in quantity of current item conveniently.
2. Use "Q" or right click to close current panel.
3. Use "A" and "D" to control item number.
4. Use "W" and "S" to control the right scroll bar.
5. Use "E" to return home| anytime.
6. Use "F" to show bulletin board.

Game Tips:
1.Make more money in limited days.
2.Item price will only change after one day passed.
3.Each item will have a random top and bottom price cap. These two values won't change in one play through.
4.Hoarding an item will cause its price increase. Notice that events also affect price. So it might not increase.
5.Dumping an item will cause its price decrease. Similarly it's not guaranteed.
6.Lower price is very likely to cause stronger rebound.
7.If not affected by former rules , Price move direction is a 50/50.
8.Higher base price, higher variation. It's all based on percentage.

It's just a mini-game.

33. Ghostdream

"When you die, you normally have only one simple wish - to return and tell them - "Hey, guys - it's OK! No need to feel sad! Cause you know what? It's actually OK on both sides, really." But returning is not easy - the only way would be dreams - "half-dreams" - "ghost-dreams". The problematic part is if you get stuck - you turn into a demon. Hard to say what exactly it is, but we presume it's a painful and useless existence. Better to avoid doing this, really.
My personal "problematic part" is that I am already stuck here. No idea how I'll get out this time..."
On his journey to the "Other Side" Reader (and his "natural companion" Writer) meets various Ghosts and Demons, Holy Spirits and Gods. He also meets Singer, who is neither Ghost, nor Demon. At some point she becomes important to Reader. Realizing this won't stop him though.
The world of Ghostdream should be scary, but it is not - it is just dark. The story should be sad since all the characters are more or less dead, but it is not, because they normally remember nothing, except some minor detail or two (for example the protagonist remembers himself reading a book - this is why they call him Reader. It is his only memory after all).
Ghostdream is a retro-style Point and Click Adventure game with puzzles, exploration and story.
- 55+ entirely animated locations (rooms)
- 10+ characters
- 8 Major Puzzles (no items required, exploration of the whole accessible area is a must) + standard adventure actions (like get here, talk there, press this, press that...)
- 16 000+ words story (fully voiced)
- about 10 hours to beat Ghostdream for the first time.
- 20+ songs OST
- 60 pages art book (with a puzzle guide)

34. TurbOT Racing

from the Developer...Welcome to Turbot Racing Steam Page!
My idea on make TurbOT Racing was about bringing to you a robot racing game easy to control, but with a nice level of challenge. The own TurbOT was designed with helper side turbines that will highly increase your capabilities of maneuvering through hard corners on the tracks.
The "trade" by getting such system support is that you need to manage energy feeding it, what sort of fits the idea of feel like the A.I. software that gives life to the robot.
Just get your eyes open and you will get lots of other details as the BIOS screen that will display the installed processors each time you boot the game and lots of tips from TurBOT Universe on both tracks and components descriptions.
I hope you get a lot of fun with the game, so without further ado let's get your unit activated! intro
You are an Advanced AI driving a TurbOT, the ultimate racing machine without the use of wheels.
Your main directives from now on will be:
1) To identify the scanned elements on the environment and translate this information in fast and precise reactions to maximize your speed and predict the needed maneuvers on each assigned route.
2) To manage the energy produced by the TurbOT reactor sharing power between your turbo systems and processor, what will allow you to get better maneuverability or the capabilities to perform more tasks by second.
3) While the concept of entertainment or a full comprehension of human fun is useless to your main directives, you can use the information about the number of people watching your presentations (that we call fans) as a secondary parameter of success since this will also to reflect on the tracks we will assign to your unit and the amount of resources that ASIMOTORS will invest on each hardware upgrade on your body.
4) You will also need to provide guidance on hardware upgrades to improve your performance after each race.
You will be matched with other Advanced AIs versions installed on bodies alike yours, so, to present a better performance than your competitors is indispensable to be considered as the final and better AI version.
WARNING: Any damage caused by malfunction from your part (both to your hardware and to third parties on the tracks) will be deducted from the corporation budget assigned to the engineers that work on your version.v1.19 (minor) Features

  • Upon request, the environment scan effect (green flash) was greatly attenuated.
  • TurbOTs got air boosting capabilities, when jumping from ramps or platforms you can push both Gamepad Triggers (Left Trigger + Right Trigger) or Mouse Buttons (L+R Buttons) to make an "air dash" with help of both turbines. Please keep in mind that this function consumes turbine energy a lot faster than use turbines to maneuvering.
  • Optional Sponsors Bonus are now displayed in some tracks, the first contracts offer additional prizes if you collect them AND win the race, on the other hand, Achievements related to them are triggered regardless race result.
  • Some tracks got adjustments/removal of obstacles to allow you to get sponsored photos more easily.
  • Sponsor requested shots triggered while "airboosting" worths twice the prize (they still request you to win the race to claim them).
v1.18 (minor) Features
  • Added Reverse command, you can use it through "S" key on keyboard or "A" button on gamepad, check ingame manual for details.
  • Gamepad shoulder buttons (L1 - R1) now can be used to reload side turbos.
  • Speed effect on screen is not tied anymore to components.
  • Minor balance adjustments on some tracks.
  • Decreased collision and destruction penalties on race prizes.
v1.16 (minor) FeaturesTurbOTs now automatically activates headlights on darker tracks.v1.15 (minor) FeaturesAchievements reviewed (lesser requisites):
  • Big Money Decreased requirement to 15,000 credits.
  • Race Star Decreased requirement to 20,000 fans.
v1.1 Features
  • NEW MOUSE STEERING SYSTEM!
v1.0 Features
  • 3D (optimized) graphics.
  • Fast paced gameplay.
  • 4 Race tracks.
  • 8 Different races with increasing levels of difficulty.
  • Upgrades and Color Customization.
  • No "rubberbanded" A.I.
  • Instructions ingame (accessible from game menu).
Gameplay Tips
  • Dont let the energy on your turbines to deplete, TurbOTs relies "A LOT" on them to good maneuverability.
  • Crashs just occurs when a TurbOT reaches some run speed, it is a nice countermeasure to break before to collide since this will avoid the crash penalty.
  • Other way to avoid harder collisions is to overclock the TurbOT proccessor when you feel that a collision is coming, dont forget this capability.
  • Overclock, Max Speed and Resistence are tied to some specific components you will install, as example, you get "more intense" Overclock effect and duration by getting better proccessor and cooling system in the workshop.
  • While it is personal taste and it has keyboard support, I would like to ask you to please try it at least once on a controller and with a mouse and keyboard to find your own way of play.

36. GH-58 _ CrackDown

This game is a modern take on the classic Cop and Robber Chase! In this multiplayer game, play as either the Cop or the Robber with different objectives for each. As the cop, try and catch up to the robber and as the robber, try to run away.

The first lap of the game is to understand the map that is being played on after which the playable area begins to get blocked off from all sides. If the cop falls behind or if the robber gets ahead and passes through the boundaries of the shrinking space, the game ends! The space keeps shrinking until one player wins.

Try and get the powerups along the way with the Cop's powerup being a taser that incapacitates the enemy for 0.5 seconds and the Thief drops mines that throw the cop away. Also watch out for the spikes as each hit would reduce one of your health bars. So go on and have a great time!

40. King's Table - The Legend of Ragnarok

A version of an old Norse board game called King's Table. The game has black and white teams, like chess, but each team has different pieces and a different raison d'etre.

The white team has a total of 13 pieces, the most important one being Odin the King, who starts in the centre of the 10x10 board and moves in the same way as a chess King, whereas black has 20 pawns and four other pieces. White wins if Odin can reach one of the corner squares; black wins if it surrounds Odin on all 4 sides. The pawns actually move the same way as chess queens, but pieces are captured by surrounding them on 2 sides (although some special pieces must be surrounded on 3 sides). The specials are chosen from the selection at the start of the game, and have a variety of abilities, some 'borrowed' from chess.

The presentation of this interpretation is similar to Battle Chess, with bold 3D graphics and lots of animation.

45. Grab the Bottle

Grab the Bottle is a quirky puzzle game in which you solve puzzles by stretching your arm through the level.
You need to maneuver an ever-extending arm to grab the goal bottle, avoiding anything hazardous on the way. To make things more tricky, Grab the Bottle brings physics and puzzles to the mix. You must grab, pull and drop objects to get to the goal bottle. On the way you will find different kinds of obstacles that need to be dealt with.
The story of the game begins in the 50s, somewhere in rural America, where one particularly strong minded baby is taking his first steps and discovers that anything is possible. Especially as he seems to have an infinitely stretchy arm.
Grab the Bottle follows the life of this boy, from cradle to grave, solving many levels of puzzles inspired by “real life problems” on the way. Central element to the story is the specific graving for bottles the main character has and the scenarios include stuff like finding precious antique bottle from an attic or just grabbing a bottle of cold beer after a hard workday.

  • Innovative, twisted way of solving puzzles by stretching and retracting your arm
  • Story mode with dozens of levels set in locations ranging from attics to amusement parks, around 7 to 10 hours total.
  • Colorful vintage comig -style graphics
  • Awesome soundtrack featuring various styles of music, reflecting different life-phases of the main character.

47. Monstro: Battle Tactics

On Ludus, ancient terror beasts and humans somehow coexist in perfect harmony. Yet once every few hundred years or so, a predictably unpredictable astrological phenomenon occurs wherein some angry people from the sky arrive from their dimension, "Terra". Whenever they arrive, a fleet of floating islands are brought along and make up the battlefields where the humans and the beasts battle for the amusement of the angry Skygods.
Welcome to Monstro. A fully deterministic logic game which plays like a tactical RPG but without RP, character growth or randomness. Fight the opposing army on the battlefield, which just so happens to be made up of conveniently perfect squares. Survive the onslaught and strike back to be the last one standing. Or, occasionally, do something else the evil Skygods want to be done for their own amusement.
This game takes the traditional tRPG gameplay and reconstructs it into a completely deterministic, logical experience with a twist of tactics. All of this is spiced up with ridiculous, tongue-in-cheek lore and approachable difficulty.
List of features:
- A puzzle game with completely deterministic and repeatable set of rules which still feels like playing a tRPG.
- And even though it plays like a tRPG there are no RPG elements, so it feels more like a t.
- A tongue-in-cheek plot, much better than the previous bullet point!
- No need to tediously repeat the same sequence of moves over and over if you lose, because undo is here! Undo a single move, undo all moves back to the beginning of the mission, undo if you fail the mission and even undo if you are victorious!
- Learn the rules of the enemy AI and use them for your victory. Or read them up because everything is in the in-game help!
- Real-time lighting which adds new depth to the crisp pixel art.
- Traps, pimped-up units, moving walls and breakable walls, ranged attacks and quick feedback on predicted enemy movement.
- 23 achievements including 17 which require you to complete existing levels in a more difficult way!
- 6 Trading Cards with descriptions expanding the game's weird lore.
- Skygods, hand-drawn islands, ancient terror beasts, Goos with :3 faces and the background pushed around by an artificial wind.
