1. Brutal Legend

Heavy Metal is a way of life and a world in itself, but Eddie Riggs found the real one, after the accident during a concert left him crushed by the scenery and making the involuntary blood sacrifice to the Ormagöden. The action adventure game with the real-time strategy elements in the open world introduced a star voice cast, compiled by musicians that became prototypes for some of the characters players will encounter during the game. Aside from the main story, players will be able to encounter dozens of side missions that may vary from the defense battles to a race. When using his V-guitar named Clementine, Eddie can cast spells, called Solos, by a simple rhythm game, reminiscent of Guitar Hero. Some story missions are so-called Battles of the Bands, where players will fight the armies in a real-time strategy fashion, and winning by outperforming the enemy band and destroying the stage.

2. Orcs Must Die!

Orcs Must Die! is a tower-defense game where you, as the War Mage, need to protect the world from the hordes of evil creatures such as Orcs and Ogres. To complete your mission, you need to keep enemies out from magical Rifts that must not be destroyed. Every level features from four to twelve waves; each Orc that reaches your Rift damages it a little. Once the Rift Score is 0, you need to start the level over.
The title uses a third-person perspective that makes it look like a classic action game. To protect the Rift, you can not only use different traps and spells but also fight Orcs yourself. If you're killed, you'll respawn near your Rift for a certain score.
Each trap or spell costs the in-game currency you earn by defeating enemies. At the beginning of the level, you choose up to ten items for the battle. As a rule, all traps only work once and then need some time to recharge. Every item is upgradable; on higher levels, you can also get some boosts that will affect that level only.
The game is followed by Orcs Must Die! 2 that features a co-op mode, and Orcs Must Die! Unchained, a free-to-play follow-up.

3. Dante's Inferno

Dante's Inferno is a slasher role-playing game developed by Visceral game.

Plot

The game is loosely based on the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri. The players control Dante, a veteran of crusades, looks for his beloved Beatrice who got taken by Lucifer. As Dante descends deeper into Hell, he has to face more and more horrific creatures, his own sins and the dark history of his family.

Gameplay

The gameplay of Dante's Inferno is similar to most slayer games. The core mechanics of the genre are to control a character who traverses different locations and eliminates every enemy they find on their path (demons in this case). The protagonist's weapons are long-ranged, allowing for the mass murder of their enemies.

The boss battles in the game are heavily inspired by God of War, where the player firstly fights with the boss and later uses a quick-time event to finish their enemy off.

Multiple platforming puzzles are present in the game. The levels itself consist of multiple interconnected platforms. There are numerous spots where the players have to jump to, not without using their weapons on several occasions.

Two weapons are present in the game: the Death's Scythe and a Holy Cross, which differ both in their usage and their role in the game's character progression system. Both weapons have their own upgrade trees which require souls. Souls can be acquired by killing enemies with one of the weapons.

6. Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut

The universe of Shadowrun is a weird mixture of cyberpunk and high fantasy. Magic and technology co-exist in this setting, dragons are real, as well as elves, goblins, dwarves and many other mythological creatures, but they are living in a future world full of hackers and megacorporations. The "shadowrunners" are specialists who perform all sorts of dirty jobs for syndicates and governments. This setting was originally designed for the tabletop games, but since 1990s Shadowrun is also a popular game series, in which Dragonfall is the sixth installment. In Dragonfall, you control a team of shadowrunners, led by your protagonist, in an isometric view. While hacking a data vault in Berlin, your party discovers dangerous secrets that were better left unknown. The characters in your team are highly developed, have backstories and inspire sympathy. To avoid losing your favorite companion, you will have to plan your battles prudently.
Dragonfall was originally a DLC released to support the previous part, Shadowrun Returns. Compared to the standard edition, "Director's Cut" includes five additional missions, several alternate endings, an improved interface design, a slightly different combat system and a new soundtrack composed by Jon Everist.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Soulstorm is the third and final expansion for 2004 strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War. Unlike two previous expansions (Winter Assault and Dark Crusade), it was not developed by Relic Entertainment, but by Iron Lore Entertainment.

10. Worms

Worms is a turn-based strategy game developed by Team17. It is the first installment of the Worms series of games.

Worms is a two-dimensional game. The gameplay is similar to the strategies of the time, such as Scorched Earth. The player controls a team of four worms. The objective of the game is to eliminate the enemy team. The player and the AI take turns on which they control a randomly selected worm from their team. During each turn, the player can use any weapon available to them or change the position of a worm. Upon hitting a worm, it's health points are taken away. The worms die on two occasions: if their health points reach zero or they hit the water. The levels are interactive and their landscapes are destructible, which affects the gameplay.

Players have access to a wide variety of weapons. Apart from RPGs, grenades, and UZI, the game features unusual weapons such as banana bombs or explosive sheep. During the game, weapon crates are dropped from the sky. Players also can use tools such as a blowtorch or a drill, that affect the landscape itself.

It is possible to customize the games settings, such as the available weapons, the time limit of a turn and a round.

11. King's Bounty: Crossworlds

The king’s heroes

The Russian approach to the game King's Bounty released on the largest platforms back in the 1990s. The series is often compared with the universe of Heroes of Might and Magic, but the gameplay and other differences (for example, the lack of a turn-based movement around the game world). But games have one publisher - New World Computing.

The Russian way

In March 2007, the Russian company 1C bought the rights to use the trademark and game universe of King's Bounty. The development was entrusted to the Vladivostok studio Katauri Interactive, which are known for the series of games Space Rangers. The game takes place in the fictional world of Endoria. In 2009, there was an add-on for the main game under the name of Armored Princess, and apparently, because of the love of Russian to matryoshka, the company decided to release another add-on to the add-on of the original game.

The plot

The action of Crossworlds takes place in the world of Teana. The player takes control of Princess Amelie, as in the previous game, and guides her through two independent story campaigns. One of them is “Orcs on the March” - the remastered version of the campaign from the previous part, and two other absolutely new stories in the virtual universe. In addition to developer’s created campaigns, players are able to create their own adventures in the built-in editor. The play is possible only in a single mode, and multiplayer is not available in the game.

43. Warfront Defenders: Westerplatte

Battle of Westerplatte was unique in many ways, and this game will try to reflect on that. Players can expect that they will be outnumbered, outgunned, but not out of tactics.
